Joe Girardi takes home the Bonehead of the Year Award
How are u going to take out Robertson with nobody on and 2 outs to bring in Aceves who gave up the lead run in extras in Game 2. Do u agree that he takes home the BOTY Award?

I was so UPSET with that move! He must think the Yanks are guaranteed a trip to the World Series to just go and GIVE the Angels that game!!!

After several amazing defensive innings. One bonehead decision based on a recipe rather than a live performance gives the angels game 3. Worst decision of the year for girardi. Joba #2.

The game would've never went to extras had he not send Gardner to steal early in the count in the 8th, because then Posada hit the game-tying HR, when it should've been the game-winning HR and they could've had a 3-0 series lead. Instead, he puts the Angels right back in the series. A couple of STUPID moves in a place where they have trouble winning games, in Anaheim. Girardi's an A-Hole.

This is pretty funny.  Yankee fans getting all annoyed at losing one game.  Especially after the win in game two came was given to them by the Angels.  Yes, I think Girardi overmanged the game.  But they are still up 2-1.  Take it easy Yankee fans.  You act like being in the World Series is your right.  Jeez.

ML31 is right, it is ONE game.  The Yankees still have a big-time advantage in this series.  I don't know why you're so upset about one game.  I know, it's no fun to lose any game, but you have to look at the big picture.  You can't expect to go undefeated in the playoffs.  Now, if they lose the next game or start seeing this series legitimately slip away, then you might start throwing Girardi under the bus.  But come on guys, being a fan takes patience.

I so agree!!! had they not asked Gardner to steel, Yankes would have won 5-4 at the 9th! What a crazy decision for Joe to take out rebertson! he was doing just fine!

How do they have an advantage? Have u seen the Yanks' numbers at Angel Stadium recently? U can't afford to just GIVE a playoff game like that.

But Girardi isn't the only 1 to blame, there's Swisher, "Clutch" Cano (Who gets a big hit once-a-year), Melky, and Big Bucks Teixeira - NONE of the 4 has hit a lick in this series.

It's called home-field advantage. At the worst, they will come back to Yankee Stadium to finish out the series (where they are 4-0 thus far in the playoffs, and 57-24 during the regular season). Besides, in a 7-game series each team can afford to lose 3 games as long as they win 4 before the other team. It doesn't matter if you sweep the series or win in 7 games, all that matters is winning the series. Losing ONE game is not gonna matter, as long as they don't lose 3 more. Besides, the Angels have tried to give away all 3 games in this series so far, it just didn't work out in Game 3, lol.
