"FanIQ Season 2" debuts some day during this upcoming week, we've been told. And on that day, to the chagrin of many, all points and rankings will be reset to zero, and for a brief moment everyone will be tied for first place in everything. The Season 1 stats will be archived on your profile and presumably visible if someone wants to click to see them.

My question is, with this changeover imminent, have you given up on accumulating points, etc. for right now, or are you still trying to "pad your stats" for Season 1, like the pitcher sitting on 19 wins and going for one more, or the hitter coming in at .298 hoping to finish at .300? Myself, I had only one goal: to break the Top 1000, and I am now #997.

#1 \| 31 days ago cubsgirl (+)	I worked very hard to get where I am, so no why would I continue to do that? I cant even imagine what it's like for people who are really high in points and ranking. I care about points and rankings, but I'm not trying right now since it's not going to matter soon.

#2 \| 31 days ago Shiloh884 (+)	I was almost to Level 24 and that was my goal; being a Jeff Gordon fan. I was going to ask Jess if we could "freeze" my Level 24, then they announced Season Two. So I hurried my butt up to get to Level 24, and I made it! Now it will be on my Stats! I still play some trivia and quizzes, but not much latelyl because I don't want to go above Level 24. Next week when Season Two starts, that's a different story! I will be back at it in earnest! Took me a while to get in the top 1,000 and I want to be there in Season Two also! I care about points and rankings, but I'm not trying right now since it's not going to matter soon.

You play your heart out for one season but the season ends, and then on Day One next year you're right back starting over with everyone else. It's also like school. You may work hard one semester to get all A's, and achieve them, but then a new semester begins, and you can't take what you earned last semester with you. It doesn't really bother me, so long as myself and anyone else who cares to can see what I achieved in Season 1. I thought I read there were not going to be Global Rankings anymore, so I wanted to get in the Top 1000 while they still kept track of that and I did, so I'm satisfied. I'm just doing what I normally do on here.

#10 \| 31 days ago BigRedneckSwede (+)	When I joined FANIQ my goal was to be the #1 fan of the Minnesota Vikings and I accomplished that goal, so now they can do what they want with the point system. I will still enjoy the Q meeting new people reading their opinions on sports and teams and visit the Locker room where they discuss anything and everything. I'm just doing what I normally do on here.

I guess we will just have to get people working hard to make plenty of new trivia and quizzes! I'll do my part. I'm just doing what I normally do on here.

It makes the challenges more fun that way. We all have done what we could in Season One and now we have the new challenges of Season Two. Time to start searching for newer and better trivia and quizzes! I care about points and rankings, but I'm not trying right now since it's not going to matter soon.

So many people earned a lot of points just by creating stuff, an in some cases it wasn't anything good, they just created stuff to get awards based on quantity. Starting over from scratch also gives everyone a fair chance who hasn't been here as long as some of the top users. People get a chance to catch the top people now, that should make you happy. I'm just doing what I normally do on here.
