Paranormal Activity - currently playing in the theatres

This movie dragged on and on, predictable ending, and the characters were unlikeable, not to mention the cheap budget.

"Dead Doll".....  Stupid, perverted, not at all scary, and acting so bad it's worse than Flo of the auto insurance commercials.

I'm a huge horror movie fan (as many of you know) and I agree with Marcus ... the cheesy, campy old horror movies are so great in their own right.  All the 80s slasher flicks are so corny, but yet so entertaining!

I'd have to say, though, that the worst I can think of off-hand right now is "Piranha".

The 1957 movie starring Sir Christopher Lee "HORROR OF DRACULA" is the worst (rather best) horror movie that I have ever seen till date.  What a coincidence, that this great actor was just yesterday Knighted by The Prince of Wales.  There was another part which also was very exciting - TASTE THE BLOOD OF DRACULA.  You need to see it to believe what I am saying.  I give below some history of the great actor Christopher Lee for you all to share.

Christopher Lee is one of the world's most iconic horror and fantasy actors - coming to prominence with the 1957 film `The Curse of Frankenstein' in which he played Frankenstein's monster. This began a long association with the film studio Hammer - with whom he made a further eleven films including the Transylvanian bloodsucker himself in the 1958 `Dracula', Kharis in `The Mummy' (1959), Sir Henry Baskerville in `The Hound of the Baskervilles' (1959) and Rasputin in `Rasputin, the Mad Monk' (1966). He also starred in two Denis Wheatley films `The Devil Rides Out (1967) and `To the Devil a Daughter' (1976).

Most recently, he has starred in `The Colour of Magic' (2008) `The Golden Compass' (2007), `Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith' (2005) & `Star Wars: Attack of the Clones' (2002) and as Saruman in the recent `The Lord of the Rings' trilogy.

There is no such thing as a bad horror movie.

A movie that I thought was utterly ridiculous as a child even was Maximum Overdrive. What the hell, not one of Steven Kings best stories!

I love Blair Witch, it's called "suspended disbelief", that's why I liked Child's Play as well.

For me it has to be 28 Days.  I used to buy a lot of movies on DVD, figuring it was cheaper to buy it and watch it at home than for the 2 of us to go the the theater and only see it once. (back when I was married)  I always said if I didn't like a movie, I could always sell it for $5 or whatever, but I never did it.  Until I saw this pile of garbage.  I went straight to a store that buys used stuff the next day and sold it and it's still the only time I've done so.  So yeah, I hated that movie.
#37 | 22 days ago

Yeah...Blair Witch was epic.  It broke the mold.  You could even say that its success was what started the run on horror films over the past 15 years.

I remember screening that (at the time i had inside connections at my local theatre) the night before it came out.  I walked out thinking...wow...finally something other than Freddy, Jason, Michael, and Chucky.

More of a thriller than a horror movie, the remake of "When a Stranger Calls".  Seeing that movie in a theater was like chain smoking: actually spending money on taking agonizing minutes away from your life.
