Another Halloween Poll (Edited 10/31/09 12:34PM by huskerfan_ia)
I went to my 5 year olds pre-school Halloween party yesterday. I found it interesting, that out of 20 kids, there were only two who had the same costume. (Two of the cutest little girls, both dressed as brides).
Another Halloween Poll (Edited 10/31/09 12:34PM by huskerfan_ia) Photo
Seth (my 5 year old) was dressed as Iron Man. There were witches and devils, pumpkins and superhero's from recent animated movies.

My oldest is going as a Ninja, and the third is going as a storm trooper (Commander Cody).

So the poll question is, what are your children going as. If you don't have children, tell us about your nieces or nephews, or others who may be close to you. If you're going out, are you dressing up? I'm going out as a shamed Husker fan in Cyclone territory.... Feel free to post pics.

Happy Halloween!

My costume for the haunted house im doing is a latex appliance that makes it look like my eyes have been gouged out.

She must not be a fan of Swingers.
#13 | 22 days ago

HEY....I don't remember picking "My kids were all growed up".....I picked Beaneaters (like I usually do). Oh well.

We had our school Halloween Parade yesterday and I was Esmeralda from Hunchback of Notre Dame (Disney version). Of course only two little girls knew who I was, the rest just thought I was a gypsy who told fortunes. I plan on being the same tonight (with a couple of adjustments).

I don't get the fun of buying costumes and dressing my kids up anymore. They are too old! But, I do get to spoil my little niece. She loves to play dress up and has several dress up trunks. So tomorrow morning me and my mom will hit the costume clearance section and get all the good deals on dress up clothes and shoes to give her at Christmas is another dress up trunk!

My boys, one is going to be a Army zombie, the other is WALL-E, his mom took a box, painted it and made a homemade costume, it's great. Our girls are going to their grandmother's neighborhood and I'm not sure what they're going to be. Mrs. Writes will be a doctor (she even bought a stethoscope online) and I, if anything, might wear what you see in my profile pic-- though I'd like to dress as Brett Favre and go door-to-door in Green Bay.

i'll take some pics and post them later on.

My daughter was a bride 2 years ago and at 5 I told her not to rush me.

My daughter is going as a "purple" princess. Every year it's something purple, it's her favorite color. (nothing to do with my name or the Vikes, honest). My son is going as something scary, he won't tell me.

Well my son is grown and no I will not divulge the age so I don't have any little ones as for me yes I am going out with my besty, and her boy friend and we are going as Roller Derby Girls, pictures to follow. we are so going to be bad ass, well maybe with the exception of Mike. If any of you have ever gone to see flat track roller derby it is so awesome those are some tough girls.. so if you ever get a chance check it out. I mostly have just little kids come to my house, but we do get some older ones and they are usually in costume and they are always polite. To me that is what Halloween is about I don't think their should be an age limit, its just that the older you get your venues change So what ever you do tonight just be safe

Ok I seriously just had these 2 people in at least their 30's knock on my door, and they were Mr and Mrs Potato Head. Great costumes, but Ummm.......the candy is for the kids. I gave em both a Reese's and told them to git! ( They were seriously collecting candy)

(hate to admit it but the costumes rocked..LOL)
