Vindog's Pick the Team Poll, Cowboys -vs- Eagles 11/08/09
For Season Two, I've decided to try something different instead of my weekly Oddball Polls on America's Team!  This time I'm trying something much simpler. It's easy, I ask questions on the game and you decide which team has better stats for the category- or if it's a tie!  So here we go and good luck to all!

 This is going to be a GREAT game, but I don't know exactly what shape McNabb is in.. I feel he will not pass as much as he normally does, since he has the sore ribs.. I could very well be wrong. But he is going to be very gun shy...

 I would love to see Miles Austin play on special teams a bit. I really can see this guy running for touchdowns on punt returns.
This might be the most interesting game of the regular season. I foresee lots of yellow flags and lots of pumped up defensive tackles/sacks on both sides.
Either way, the Cowboys will win it.

I chose the Boys in rushing yards because they have a much better running game than the Eagles do and in turn, that should help them control the time of possession game!  Just a thought......

That's good logic.. But my thoughts were throwing to Miles Austin? Instead of a rushing game.. I have not heard how Barber is doing. He will be a big factor if he is healthy...And Roy Williams SUPPOSINGLY is getting his head screwed on straight. At least that is what he said.. My brain is sort of fried right now, I can not remember who the one was that let the ball go right through his hands last week, or the week before.. I have slept since then and CRS has set in.

That poor Eagle Brian posted up there is not fit for BBQ...He looks awful sick..

Be careful, McNabb isn't as "sore" as some websites are claiming!  He threw for 240 yards and 3 TD's last week against the Giants with that injury- remember?

Well the Cowboys are claiming that Barber is "nearly" 100% healed from the thigh injury and his thumb injury is of no concern either. IF these claims are actually true, look for the Boys to run Barber until his legs fall off. Barber has had some good games against the Eagles in the past.

That is true.. I will have to check and see the injury report on the boys page of the Dallas Morning news.. Will get back to you after I find out.. The only thing that concerns me is when a player comes back after an injury they are prone to get hurt easier. Just my thought.

Yes I remember, but I have not been following the Giants..How is their defense compared to the Boys? I did not get to watch the game the Eagles played last week..

Barber is pretty famous for playing through the pain. I think he will do more than he should and others will fill in so he can rest a bit and come right back in. I can't say enough good about Austin and how he can help in this situation.

I agree with you 100%, But they will probably be after Barber and try to knock him out of the game.. My feeling is, they need to try the passing with Miles Austin.. I do not trust Roy Williams a bit.. he is suppose to be number one.. But there is a lot to be said about that..

And don't forget Westbrook... they have him listed as playing tomorrow but he was out last week due to a headache...?
He can be a force to be reckoned with but when he is not feeling well his game suffers.

I know, he had a concussion. If he gets hit again he will be in trouble.. Because remember when Troy had one? He got knocked out of a couple of games from it.. After they have one, it is very easy to get another..
