Who ranks first at tight end in Cowboy history?
Ok boys and girls settle down, the arguments over the best quarterback and running back in Cowboy history have been pretty fierce. I thought I would make this one a little easier, THE BEST TIGHT END IN OUR STORIED FRANCHISES HISTORY IS????? No fighting now

I found this to be a hard one. I remember Doug Cosby, Jay Novacek and Jason Witten all being consistent receivers.

Moose was a fullback.

Thats right, thanks for setting him straight.

Moose darling was a FULLBACK - yes he caught the ball 95% of the time it was thrown to him but he was a FULLBACK not a receiver!

terrell owens is a receiver darlin not a tight end. and as sad as it would be he'd be in the top 3 at very least on that list.

What no one is going to choose Tyji Armstrong....J/K, This poll is really tougher than I thought it would be. Be on the lookout for more from Cowboys past and present.

Growing up as a Cowboy fan i remember everyone on the list except  for Tyji Armstrong and Dick Bielski. This is a tough poll but I selected Jason Witten because he plays with the toughness that Billy Je Dupree, Mike Ditka,Doug Cosbie and Jay Novacek  played with.

I selected Novacek, but I was really torn between him, Witten & Cosbie.

Novacek, was a great TE... Witten just needs to find away to get open more often and he will get more throws. Teams are sticking 2/3 defnders on him now. He is the best TE in the game right now. and will soon pass Novacek on the Cowboys TE list.

1. Novacek  2. DuPree 3. Cosbie. Witten still has time to work his way up the list. Ditka was great too.

This is a tuff one to call Novacek had maybe the best hands of the bunch and maybe the only reason I picked him above the others is because his fingers have more SuperBowl rings on them.I can remember Dupree he was outstanding and Doug Cosbie may be the most underated of the bunch,But in time I believe that Witten will be regarded as the best ever he is a consumate pro no flash just hard work and determination to me he is a perfect example of what an NFL player should be.

Witten has a chance to beat Jay, if Romo gets his act together.

OH MY DARLING you are so right ... Terrell Owens would be on the list of the TOP THREE DRAMA QUEENS of the Dallas Cowboys
1.  Deon Sanders
2.  Terrell Owens
3.  Jerry Jones
Jay Novacek

DuPree was a great receiver but if you go back and look he just did not have the same style that Novacek or Witten had/have .... Novacek always made it look so dang easy  .... Witten actually appears to be stronger than Novacek was but DuPree was just the only one they had on the field.
