The Lakers dominated the paint, but the Suns are missing their starting center in Robin Lopez, who could've given Channing Frye a litle rest. Still, the Fakers were without Gasol, and Gasol is at least a little better than Lopez, but at the end of the season, we will see who has the rings on their fingers!!!

 The Suns have no inside defense. The Lakers dominated the paint tonight against the Suns, I don't think that is likely to change. Suns will be a fun team to watch with their style of play resulting in a lot of high scoring games, but I can't see Phoenix going far into the postseason.

 About as real as they can be at this point in the season (and they're so much better being back to their style of play instead of Shaq's), but I just can't see them winning it all over the likes of the Lakers or the Celtics.

But, it's a long season - anything goes.

 I'm a hardcore homer fan, but I know their hot start is due to the easiness of their schedule. I doubt they will finish in the top 4 at the end of the season. If they can stay healthy, they might make it to the second round of the playoffs. Most of the teams in the West are filled with older players, so they may have a chance to do something.

Easy schedule? Didn't they have a huge road trip where they beat both Miami and Boston? That's not easy, IMO. I think the Suns can get to the WCF if they can (as usual) get past the spurs.

This is exactly right. The Suns are awful on defense and have no inside presence for rebounds. They are entertaining because they play a lot of high scoring games, but without defense and rebounding they won't get out of the Western Conference playoffs.

 the suns are a good team and can go all the way... they just got to learn to keep the lead in the second half. seems like ever time they are in the lead they start to slack off and lose it.

 The Suns have corrected their deficiencies and have learned from their mistakes as the season has progressed. They have improved on their defense and dominate the rebounds in most games. Steve Nash at times has more assists then the entire opposing team and Amare has finally found his grove. The Suns are the complete package. They have an outstanding bench and their starters are not selfish and think as team. I feel the Suns will definately get to the Western Conference finals and have a good shot of winning it all this year.

Defense wins championships, something Suns have always lacked. Charlotte Bobcats have better chance of winning championship because they are best defense in league, check the stats.

 I was in agreement with your post until the part about the Bobcats. They wouldn't even make it past the first round of the playoffs and that would probably be a sweep.

Bobcats play above .500 ball against playoff teams, plus have one of best records at home in league.. might get beat, but definetly not swept
