I have lived in Jacksonville for 29 years, longer than the Jags have been here. I wish the team well, but i am still a Lions fan, no matter what.

Hey, your Bengals are playing well, and you can always look back to the Big Red machine.!

My city (Phoenix) has a team in each sport, but only had one when I first moved here in the late 80's.
The main reason why I'm a fan is because I get to see them on occasion, when I'm lucky enough to get tickets.

Ah, but they still have Mike Brown running things over at Paul Brown Stadium - thus my comment.

As for the Reds, I thank them every day for funding my youth baseball organization, but I grew up in St. Louis and still bleed Cardinal Red!

There are no pro sports teams in Tucson, but I do root for the Arizona Cardinals since they are on TV every week. I grew up a Rams fan and had season tickets to them for several years before they moved to St Louis. Ever since they left, I have hated them more than any other team.

There was no option for "no, but my AREA does".    But yeah, that's my answer.

Most of northern NJ is basically like a suburb of NYC, so we have the NY teams.  Plus, the NY Giants technically play in NJ, so I guess we kind of DO have a team in my state.  Whatever ... you get the idea.

The Shark Tank is only a few miles from my front door.
Then the Earthquakes up there in Santa Clara.  (soon to move onto their new San Jose pitch)
Then there are the single A San Jose Giants.  2009 Cal League Champions!!!  (I try to get to at least 5 or 6 games a season)
Up the road about 45 miles is the San Francisco Giants.
Up the road about 45 miles but a little bit to the East we can find the Oakland A's.

Irony is so ironic. After Bill Bidwell got himself kicked out of St. Louis, a lot of Cardinal fans started putting Arizona over Dallas in their most-used voodoo doll collection. Eventually, many of them became Rams fans after they moved there!

And Rapids (MLS) and Mammoth and Outlaws (indoor and outdoor lacrosse, respectively). The Broncos may squeak into the playoffs still. The Avalanche should, although probably as a lower-half seed. The Nuggets should again contend for the Western Conference title. And the Rockies have a core of young players who should keep them in contention for several years. It's a good time to be a sports fan in this city, even if it's not my native "home teams."

I've lived here in the Denver area for seven years, and the first 25 of my life I spent in the Atlanta area, which has four-plus teams as well. In between, for a couple of years I lived in Lafayette, Indiana, which was 60 miles from Indianapolis and 120 from Chicago, so going to see pro teams was feasible.
