I had to edit because this was the year my older sister decided I needed to wear make up.  She put it on, lordy I looked in the mirror and cried I looked like a streetwalker.

My best memory: Dancing the night away with my high school sweet heart who I went on to marry!

Don't have one.. evidently it's hard to know when to say when when you're 17, and I proceeded to get blackout drunk.. sweet life

I got wasted...oh and I didn't go    I called my current GF a little too late since one of my friends asked her 10 minutes before I called and my GF at the time was too young (according to her Dad) to go.  Then like a week before she could go...F-That I already spent my money on a Keg for the night

Waking up the next morning, with my Grandad over me at 7:30 am banging a wooden spoon on a metal pot, asking me if I was ok from my fall down the stairs a I was telling him I wasn't drunk..ROTFL.

Wasn't funny then, but I just belly laughed remembering it now.

RIP Pops!

Can I forget all my memories of prom?

Fun at the time, not so good in retrospect.  Sigh.

#8 | 1722 days ago

I can't forget this since this was the first time I really had fun dancing all  with my friends,  my first time to take a drink, after that we had to go for a swim  don't ask me how we did it  since we're in our prom's dress and all before deciding to get home.

Im a junior right now. I hope prom will be a memorable experience for me. Need to find a date first though.....
#10 | 1722 days ago

We didn't have a prom, just a banquet.   My fiancee took me and brought me home afterwards.   We couldn't have guess either.  My soon to be hubby of 47 yrs thought i was an angel in my white gown, so i guess that was my favorite memory.

Well, for starters, my prom date's father died of a heart attack the night before the prom.  That was a lovely surprise for ALL of us.  My date decided to go anyway, which was nice of him even though I told him I would completely understand if he didn't (for obvious reasons), but he was a mess the whole night, of course.
Before we even got TO the prom, we almost got kicked out of our limo since one of the people riding with us had his insane "I want to look like a professional photographer, but I just look like a professional tool" father there who chased the limo down the street, opened the "no not open under ANY circumstances" limo door, and snapped some more pictures.
After the prom, we had a lovely time going through the McDonald's drive-thru.  Especially when we were told that they had no meat.  Yes.  McDonald's ... was out of ... meat.  Not only were we at a fast food drive-thru after our prom, but I couldn't even get a Big Mac to drown away my sorrows.  So after dining on fries and vanilla shakes, we went home.  And that was all.  It was fun.

I might be giving your prom story a run for its money, Jason.

....hanging out with my bestest high school girlfriends...(boys were/are stupid )  there was champagne, and winecoolers involved...and a road trip...oh yeah...and we made it to the dance for awhile...

We just had our pics took, went and danced a few songs and left to go drink. Why let a perfectly nice Limo go to waste?  Then we went to a breakfast the parents were giving at 1:00 a.m.  That was Sr. Prom at my high school.  I actually attended 3 proms.

My boyfriend and a bunch of our friends ditched the prom-----thought it was way too expensive to attend, so we all went to Magic Mountain staying till it closed.

I went with a guy I'd had a semi-crush on since I was 6.  It was a magical night, even though things never worked out for us.  He was a true gentleman and a great friend.  This was the first night ever that my dad told me I didn't have a curfew...he liked the guy that much.

i didnt attend any proms, i quit school in December 76 and went into the armyin january 77  and was at Ft.Knox ky probably pulling guard duty on some damn jeeps that no one would have wanted anyway, any way i took my ged while i was in boot camp and passed it with flying colors,so i graduated about 2 years before my class did, not who was the dummy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I did a double date with a friend from high school (Tony).  The four of us had a limo, I went with a friend of mine and her friend was my friend's date.  My friend, believe it or not, is my dentist's daughter, but don't let that fool you, she's the hottest girl I know.  Her mom brought both girls to my place.  We take pics at my house, my hilarious neighbor up the street walks down when she sees the limo, introduces herself and simply said "hi, I'm just being a nosey neighbor."  We went to pick up Tony at his house and then to the limo lineup at the park just down the street from my high school.  When we get in the car, Tony realizes "s*** I forgot our tickets!"  So we left the lineup, went back to his house, and said screw it, let's just go out to the prom now, which was out by Pgh Int'l Airport.  We got out there a good half hour before the limo parade doing that.  When we got there we met up with 2 of Tony's & my friends from our high school who are now married, and another girl who I knew who was a junior at the time and actually went stag, yes, stag to a prom!  During the night Tony and I seemed to start dancing with the opposite dates.  We didn't do the after prom because it sucked and they locked you in so you couldn't leave even if you wanted to.  So we just went to the Wendy's drive-thru near the hotel and took the girls home.

Mine was so long ago but some things you never forget. After spending all day getting ready for the prom, my fiance and I met up with a few of our friends after pictures were taken.  After about 30 minutes of sitting there, looking around, thinking how boring it all was we left.  We all went home, changed into our favorite jeans, etc. and headed straight to the store for Boonesfarm Strawberry Hill and met at the Galveston Ferry and rode it most of the night drinking our wine.  Had a great time.  The Captain knew us well since we seemed to ride the ferry a lot back then (not much to do when you were kinda under age).

Went to every ones prom but my own. The rich kids graduated the same year we did and hijacked the prom pricing it out of our reach and, when we started to protest to the principle and school board [did no good - their parents were on the board], they instilled their own ideas of how it should be run that made it undesirable to a lot of us.

I hosted an after party instead and all those who could not or would not go attended. WHAT A CROWD AND WHAT A BLOW OUT. Last count 77 guys and gals. Woke up next morning to 15 people crashed everywhere and enough left over booze to keep us supplied for a month. My dad and his Girlfriend cooked us breakfast. We could not really afford much but, we had a blast with what we could.

This is my funniest memory.  I was graudated from school last year and in APril when we had our prom, I went with my girlfriend at the time.  Our school has our prom on the gateway clipper in Pittsburgh and my girlfriend and I went up to the deck and was looking out to the water and dancing and all that.  Well.............she looked at me really funny and turned to the side and started throwing up.  I can honestly say I did not kiss her anymore during the prom lol but I did sneak one in before I dropped her back off at home at 7:00 in the morning because I figured she'd be pissed if I didn't and who really wants there girl pissed at them?

I was madly in love with that girl, my best friend's next door neighbor, Mary White.  Later I found out I had been a total geek and I scared her so much she never went out with me again.

Didn't go, however, I did enjoy a party that night at a friends place. Got drunk, confessed my love to three or four girls, and called it a night.

Well....my senior prom went as "just friends" with a sophomore....she had to be dropped off at 1 am...it was a double date and my friend and HIS sophomore date and I drove around all night....drinking...watched the sun come up over the ocean.  Not really a GREAT night...but my WIFE's senior prom...it was our first date...we double dated with my friend's sophomore (see above) date...and partied back at this friend's house...and people commented to my wife in school the next week "Gee, we didn't see your FACE all night"!  Probably why I married her....she's a GREAT kisser!!

I was stupid....I got a MIP the weekend before, so i was grounded my sr yr. But because my parents already bought my dress, shoes, jewlery, things like that, they let me go, but i had to be home by 10 that night...So to make up for loss time, my date took me out hours before and we  just got S--t faced drunk.....But i latter found out that following monday at school , that the party i was suppost to go to that night, got busted and my date got slammed with a mip...can you imagine if i had snubbed my  parents and left my house in the middle of the night and got a nother MIP, how pissed my parents would of been....dang....I guess thank heavens for small favors
