But I also didn't agree with the Inaguaral Class. If the Hall of Fame was anywhere else other than Charlotte, I may have a different opinion. yes

People will look back in 40,50 years time and see his winning statistics (18 cup wins I think I'm right in saying-if not I'm sure someone will correct me!), and they will look at the pictures of Jr nation, and think wow that guy deserved to be in the hall of fame. He may be no Jeff Gordon or Jimmie Johnson, and as we've all discussed so many times he will never be as good as his father...but he has so many fans, and keeps so many people interested in the sport, that I think he deserves it. And also when he does go into the HOF, he may even go in for his owner stats as well, because I think he will probably have his own cup team one day after he has retired, and who knows Jr motorsports may become like Hendrick...I doubt it but they might yes

Charlotte is the roots of Nascar. It is where it began. I don't agree with the award banquet being held in New York City or Vegas. I think they should also be held in Charlotte. That's the problem with Nascar today, it is becoming too commercialized! yes

There are just too many better drivers then Jr. in his generation group. Looking at what Sr. did and what Jr is doing....goes to show talent skips a generation! yes

#14 \| 82 days ago PJ88Fan (+)	Yes he will be in the Hall of Fame and it won't be because of his name or his popularity. Neither one of those have anything to do with the Hall of Fame. Starting in 2010, I look for a big change in Junior and his driving. A lot was going on the last 2 years and there was a lot of pressure on him. I truly believe he has managed to shake some of that off and is ready to get down to some serious racing this next season. I'll stick my neck out and say he will win 4 - 5 races if not more and will make the Chase this season. A lot of people are writing him off. I wouldn't be so quick to do that. I also think in the next 2-3 years he will win the Chase then venture into being a Team Owner and have a Chase winner there as well. Junior isn't the 1st driver to have a couple of bad years and he sure isn't going to be the last. yes
