Do you think Jenson Button was right to move from Brawn/Mercedes to McLaren for the 2010 season?
Now Mercedes have bought out the world champions Brawn GP, Jenson Button has left to line up alongside fellow Brit Lewis Hamilton-the first time this has happened I believe since Jim Clarke and John Surtees. Mercedes offered Jenson a "substantial" offer, but Jenson declined and has moved to McLaren. First of all do you think he was correct in moving from the team that brought him the Championship, and secondly why? (state below)

I think it's gonna be tough for Jenson. Lewis has now seen off Kovalainen and Alonso, and I think he'll do more of the same with Jenson. At the end of the day it seems like McLaren is Lewis' team and Lewis' team alone. All Jenson will be doing in 2010 is acting as a rear gunner to Hamilton's title push in my opinion

Sadly people and teams that rise to fame get sold out early. The same thing has happened to Brawn GP and Jenson Button alike.
People got to accept that even big teams like Ferrari, Mc-Laren, Red Bull must have had humble beginnings. Very few people start big.....Joining some big team or partnering one is not the only path to success.
The beaten path maybe the safest.................but the traffics terrible there!

My personal opinion and observation is that Lewis is a selfless driver and always try to do to what expected of him in the circuit. He accepts bad results like loosing or mechanical failures on his car, he always try to do his best with what provided to him on his disposal. One can equate Lewis to Vallentino Rossi of the Yamaha team.

I think that teams tend to focus more on one driver at the expence the other. It is likely Jenson may not get as much attention as Lewis who has been with the team for some time

Jenson could do better than some people think. I think Lewis is the better driver, but Jenson is the smoothest. With the new tyre regulations and no refuelling next season, tyre wear will be of even greater importance.
