What are your thoughts on the 2009 NL Cy Young race? (Edited 11/21/09 12:31AM by Scott)
As you all know Tim Lincecum has won the 2009 NL Cy Young Award.  Is it Contreversial??? Or are people happy with the decision?? Please explain your answer and tell who you think is deserving

It's puzzling when the guy with the most 1st Place votes LOSES! I predicted in another poll that it would either be a Cardinal tie or Lincecum would squeak through by the split vote. Guess the latter came true!

 Lincecum is the best pitcher of the three and the most dominant. The league hit ..206 off him, he improved over his previous Cy Young Campaign.

If the Giants actually got him some runs this year, his record could have easily been 19-4 or so. The voters were obviously aware of this and they got it right once again.

Before I say anything, I am a Giants enthusiast and am pleased Timmy won.

That said...  I said it before and I will say it again.  A case could be made for all three.  If any of them won there could be no legitimate snubbing.
