Give Lou at least one year with new owners and hopefully a healthy team (without Bradley) and we will see a team to the playoffs. We all know who is waiting in the wings to manage...but let him mature in managing, he is there for the Cubs future.

I think i'm ready for the wing man. Although I truly like Pinnela, and I agree lets see how things go with the Ricketts before saying good bye to him.

pinnela is a good solid manager, he had alot of injuries to deal with last year, give him a healthy team in 2010 and cubs will win the division, and possilble WORLD SERIES !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Cubs will always be the Cubs - Lou or no Lou! He needs to quit the Aquafina cold turkey and go back to throwing bases. Although at his age, he might have to have someone rip them out of the dirt for him first! LOL

Sure, keep him. They're not going to do better. No manager is going to end the curse.

Keep him for sure right now. Sandberg needs more experience before being the Head Coach. I wouldn't mind bringing him up right now for an Assistant Coach with Lou. Lou will guide him to sucess and the experience that he needs to learn it well.
