I hate to be the vague guy, but it really depends on the time of year.  I guess if I could only choose one person it would probably be Chipper Jones.  I'm a huge Braves fan and he's the face of the franchise, so Chipper it is.

But if someone said the word "sports" to me today, the first thing that pops in my head is Iron Bowl.

The greatest pitcher of all time... Nolan Ryan. Or the greatest hitter of all time, Ken Griffey Jr. He would have smashed the HR record but got hurt to much.

This time of year, I'm thinking football and that always brings me back to the Giants in the 90s.  So, I think of players like Phil Simms and Lawrence Taylor.

Ask me again in baseball season, it'll likely change.

Young Breezy - WHODAT!

He didn't convert a third and long once, just to see what it felt like. Any football he throws can be identified by it's distinctive striation marks, just like a bullet. He doesn't have an ego, but his ego has a Drew Brees. He doesn't celebrate touchdowns, they celebrate him. He doesn't call audibles, he just thinks them.

Well yes, certain butts I'm all too happy to kiss. This question is just too hard for me to give one definitive answer to, but frankly, these days if I think of sports I inevitably think of this site too...

I was attending Purdue during his season, and was at the game where they beat Indiana to clinch the Big 10 and the Rose Bowl berth. Did you know that in West Lafayette, Indiana, a street was renamed "Brees Way"? (I think the same thing was done to a street near the Superdome). I can't find a photo of it anywhere, but you'd be entertained reading this: http://graphics.fansonly.com/photos/schools/pur/sports/m-footbl/auto_pdf/brees-weekly.pdf

Junior, Tony Stewart, Mark Martin, Kevin Harvick, Brad Keslowski, Jimmy Clausen, Golden Tate and all  the Notre Dame football players. All of them will be back next year and hopefully a lot of things will change.

As soon as this poll popped up...first thing I thought of was Michael Jordon.  He is such a role model to many young children today.  Such an excellent basketball player too.  Good personality!  An outstanding athlete of all time. Awesome sport figure!

when someone says sports to me depending on the time of year I think of the sport being played at that time of year. I love my Tarheels,be it basketball or football or baseball. Right now if someone mentions sport's the first thing i think of is football......bowl games.playoffs and Superbowl........then with withdrawal's going on I start thinking of basketball march madness and again pulling for my beloved Tarheel's.That pretty much carries to spring training and baseball. If were ever to think of one player in sport's I guess I would go with........baseball.....I would go with Nolan Ryan.........football.......Gale Sayers........basketball........(I'm no fool) Michael Jordan............golf ( yeah i like to watch when Tiger is playing)so guess who........track and field..........sorry Scott......I would go with Jesse Owens

I was gonna say this. He is a good role model professionally, but personally he's just a man.
