Mike Tyson, because I would have the best stories to tell afterward. Well, after we make bail or whatever.

Tom Brady, my favorite NFL player. Oh, and he is more than welcome to bring Giselle with him.
Happy Thanksgiving.!

Archie Manning. He'd be a cool guest.

I'd invite Brett Favre over and interrogate him on why he's so picky on his decisions.

LOL, I think you need to invite Mayweather over instead!   I don't think Pacquiao is scared of him at all, but Pretty Boy is gonna duck that fight for sure!  He don't wanna get hit- and the PacMan WILL him AND not let him run away like he always does!  Floyd won't fight ANYBODY in their prime; his two biggest fights were against DeLaHoya and Hatton- both of whom were in the declining years of their careers!  Floyd is a JOKE!

Jim Dowd, former NJ Devil/Flyer/Wild/Canadien/Avalanche player (ok...that's not fair because I grew up with him and he lives in the area and is a friend)....Derek Jeter and his family...he seems like a guy who is polite and respectful ( I STILL think he calls Joe Torre "Mr. Torre") and because he seems like a guy you can talk s**t to and he'd give it right back.

As I said in the article, I'd invite Phil Bourque, and make sure I had a Stanley Cup cake that he could toss in my bathtub and break

(He's the one who threw the Cup into the bottom of Mario's pool and cracked it in 1992.)

Besides the GREATEST Mr. Muhammed Ali, I would also invite ( not an athlete- but in the athletic field) Jason Garrett- Dallas Cowboys Offensive Coordinator! I would have a long, alcohol induced "chat" with him about his crappy play- calling abilities as of late! LOL

Mine would be a retired player--Alan Page.

He earned his law degree and later practiced law during the off-season, and now serves as a Justice in the Minnesota Supreme Court.  Not to mention that he was the anchor for the Vikings "Purple People Eater" defense of the late 60's and 70's.

He's a heck of a nice young man too.  Thanks for the link, I think you're pretty safe in the top 3 for him...

John parker wilson or Brett Favre, mostly just because we'd end up having a food fight over our team loyalties and spatter each other with turkey and stuffing.

I think I would invite Pete Rose, so I could shower him with the praise he deserves for BEING baseball. I was never a Cincy fan, just the Cardinals, but I've always loved Charlie Hustle. He DESERVES to be in Cooperstown, I don't care what anyone says. I, for one, would have no trouble at all telling that to him or anyone else.

This has proven to me that polls ALWAYS get more attention (comments, anyway) than blog articles or hotlinks. So, I'm just going to copy what I commented on the original article:

Brett Favre, so we can have this conversation:

"Would you like some cranberry sauce, Brett?"

"Yes.. well, no. I don't really like cranberry sauce. Well, it's OK. I'll take some."

"Are you sure?"

"Definitely. No. I don't know. Is it whole cranberries or the jelly stuff?"

"Which one do you like better? I think I have both?"

"Definitely the whole. Yeah, I'll definitely eat the whole. Maybe. Let me see the jelly. I don't know. Give me some. I'm definitely not eating it. OK if you put it that way, I'll eat it. Maybe."

You're losin' it dude. I don't think I've ever seen someone so intent on making someone that doesn't deserve it look bad.

Chill, my friend. It's meant to be funny. It's no worse than that radio commercial Sears made poking fun at him. He opened himself up to that kind of parody. He's having an enormously successful season; more power to him. But all the indecision and back-and-forth hand-wringing the past two offseasons did get old.

Yeah, I guess you're right about him opening himself up for that kind of thing. Well, maybe not. Let's see.....yeah, perhaps he did. I don't know for sure, let me ponder it for a while, I can give you my answer then. Wait a minute, I can probably answer now. No, I'll have to examine it further.

Sounds good to me.  Ted Williams was the coolest guy ever to play the game.  He could be a jerk sometimes, but you would never forget the experience of being with him.

"Tar tar" is a dish produced of raw (usually red) meats.
