Jerry Rice & Emmitt Smith are locks for this years inductees, but which other 3 of this year's nominees would you also select?

There wouldn't be a successful NFL without Tags! After Pete Rozelle, he is the next most influential figure in the league's history.

Karras wasn't one of the 25 nominees this year, but I agree he should've been in a few decades ago.

Ironic, Karras is best known as a sitcom actor and the Lions are a comedy! LOL

From the semifinalists thus far, would likely choose Cortez Kennedy, Dermontti Dawson, and Cliff Branch (the last of these because this is his last regularly eligible year) alongside Emmitt Smith and Jerry Rice. But I can get behind other candidates as well (including Cris Carter, Russ Grimm, John Randle, Andre Reed, Shannon Sharpe, Tim Brown, and Aeneas Williams -- and from those semifinalists not listed above, Chris Doleman, Kevin Greene, Charles Haley, Ray Guy, and Rickey Jackson).  Would not vote for either Senior candidate (neither Dick LeBeau nor Floyd Little).

Not so excited about electing Paul Tagliabue, at the very least not until a really slow year if at all. I'm not aware that his eligibility will ever expire, and note well that Pete Rozelle was not elected until his 8th time as finalist. It's unclear for starters why Tagliabue deserves election sooner than Rozelle did.

Also, Alex Karras is not eligible unless he is nominated as a Senior. More importantly, his 1st team all pro/pro bowl numbers (3/4) are not as good as those of contemporary DT Henry Jordan (5/4), and Jordan was clearly considered a marginal candidate as he wasn't voted in until his second try as a Senior candidate. And Karras's case is further hurt by his betting on football games, which resulted in a year's suspension in 1963 for him and Paul Hornung (who is in but I don't think belongs at all).

I forgot to include some of the actual inductees, but I don't even remember ever making this poll.
