 i am also married 25 yeas, so it does get harder and harder to buy something, but usually jewelry is a safe bet for me

 After 25 years she should get whatever she wants.  I give my husband a list and he decides what he wants to get me off the list.  That way  I still don't know what I am getting but know I am getting what I want.  Any women who thinks their husband is a mind reader and should "know what I want for Christmas" is looking for ways to be disappointed.

 A nice day beginning with breakfast out, so she does not have to cook and clean up the mess.
Then comes the money, let her go shopping for clothes, she can take on vacation.
Then on vacation give her the jewelry.
