Horrifying yet educational movie, with terrific acting performance by Liam Neeson. Ralph Fiennes's portrayal of Amon Goth is one of the cruelest villains I've ever seen in film.

Being from a partially German-Jewish decent with grandparents who survived the holocaust and fled to America, I found this film to be aspiring and somewhat intrusive at the same time. I learned quite a bit about history and culture from this film.

Similar movies: The Pianist,  Diary of Anne Frank,  Jakob the Liar.

Great movie, great filmmaking, Spielberg at his best.

Saw this movie during the midweek day in South Florida.  I was the youngest one in the theater, surrounded by retired people.  During the shower scenes people were sobbing all around me.  It really brought home the horrors that this film so ably presents.

In my opinon, the best movie ever, and it has more to do that you can't categorize it with any other.  You can ask my favorite movie (star wars), favorite comedy (the holy grail), etc, but this to me is the best movie ever made.  So much symbolism and truth, a great work of art.

I don't know if I will ever be ready to see this movie. I  have chosen not to see it. I don't deal with things that are so horrific and painful very well.I think it would haunt me forever. I just don't know if I can do that.
