Read the Article: Welcome to the User Experience Forum!

After considerable use of site for the Season II in participation, for exchange of thoughts, reading the thoughts, opinions having read, would you be satisfied with your experience with time spent on this site?
I at times feel as if I am claustrophobic, with no response known to the participation, like earlier, with funny, and thumbs ups, and even poor quality that I got was good for me to understand the "other" lighted side of the opinion.
Now it is difficult for me to know what happened, what was the response, was it of any worth while to share it with you all, these Questions concern my mind.
For me the concept of regards, is different, it is basic, for communications, whether I like, agree or otherwise, I always respect the person, aged, young or male or female does not make it any different.Who am I to judge anyone for their opinion, it is for me to read the opinions, make my own, at times I just read, will not express, that is my choice. Regards has nothing to do with it.Would you like to know the responses and the feelings of the person when he responds, would love to know. Love and  Regards, with all respects.

This site was one of the best experiences to have good friends and exchange views, the end season of season it gave way to some sort of verbal brawl, the eager site administration has to make it commercially viable fun, but the way it is done has made me rethink, about theories of recession in America. !
Any society if seen as cultured and civilized , it must have respect for its individuals in society, sorry to note that the administration has chosen to be dictatorial stingy on respect aspect of it, thus perhaps hoping to have tabloid content more than sensible contents. ! Love and regards,

We had discussed this in a poll yesterday and it got pulled for some unknown reason.  Yes the funny, smart, bold and pq  were a way of  connecting with each other.    With people from other countries it helps to know if  it is found funny or smart.    It was a big mistake to remove those and i am still hoping they correct this soon.   Would be a great christmas present.

I enjoyed having the smart, funny and bolds.   Now the polls seem very impersonal with less participation!

It doesnt matter anymore, you just have to adapt to what new changes the site has brought you. Personally, im proud to have the amount of respects i do, i see people out there that have made 300-400 comments and have maybe 40 respects. Its hard to get respects, when you get one, you feel like someone really appreciated you comment. I only wish we had rollover respects or at least bump them up to 15-20 a day.  The creators of this site know what they are doing, or they wouldnt have a sucessful site for us to enjoy everyday...give it some more time.

I've probably cut down my time on the site by 300-400%.. I mainly just do the pick'ems and sports polls, and sometimes the locker room polls.. it's just not as fun as it was, plus I've been amazingly distracted lately, so that may have something to do with it too

I agree, I just have so much going on lately, and the limits make it harder to use the respect, I don't log on everyday anymore,

We all (most of us) have also adapted to the changes.  We all have been told to be patient as the site creators give the new system a chance, with a possible decision to go back to some old ways or maybe a hybrid system.  But we have adapted, for better or worse.  I find that, like many out there, I am not spending as much time looking at polls or taking quizzes, giving out respects (of any type).  I find that I have become very stingy of giving out my respects.

A lot of comments make me laugh, and others show me how brilliant the FanIQ public are.   But I find that I am waiting for the finest, sweetest, cream of the crop comments out there to earn my respect- and I discover I have waited too long.  (Of course I earn another 10 for the day, but I see new comments, and have to decide on new comments or trying to find that comment from last week that impressed me.)

I want to hurry and post my opinion on this poll before it gets deleted, like mine did yesterday. I agree that  I would like to go back  to the original thumbs up award.  Go ahead, keep the new deals of  fantasy sports, gifts of recognition, etc.  In responding to the moderators message to me that he was deleting my post I explained, and I have stated this before, I had 9 brothers, have had pro ball thrust down my throat forever.  I think the fact that I feel this way and still found the 'Q' a place to check out on a daily basis, even make my opinions heard was a great compliment to a 'SPORTS" site. I think that by changing things here, rather than adding to them has served as a way to purge the site. I am no one special, but, the opinions posted on my poll in addition to those here, someone should listen.  I don't know how internet sites make their money, I think it happens when anyone visits your site, and if they don't  'hit' as regularly, does your income go down? Listen people, listen to the people who are hitting on your site.

Sir, at the outset, while I respect your opinion about respects, my humble submission is you may have all my respects that i have on my account, it does not make difference to me, as i hold in high respects each and every individual of this society of cyber world.
More importantly, issue is about communication on site, with individuals, whom we respect, we may agree or disagree with them on certain issues, the communication is effective when the words put in as opinion are responded by another opinion with their thoughts, or no opinion, but, responded with any of the feelings of the opinion, about the opinion, , like bold, funny, smart, thumbs up, poor quality, when such responses are "felt" we do get the broader perspective of the issue, opinions, and fuller picture of the issues.
One of my friend, young Suji had authored a poll, funny,,,, peculiar or ha...ha..., then, that meant a lot to lot of Q ers. Each of us have certain feelings about the same issue, all these opinions together, give a totality of the entire picture, when responded, to all on the issues. The best example of this, one will suffice to distinguish, it was about ABORTION, there is humane feelings in each of us, site only reinforces it with positive approach, while to do that, it has to be economically sustainable, feasible efforts.
While it is hoped that effective communication is encouraged by responses, it is also, the need that respects do not stifle the responses.! I would like to , love to, have hundreds of responses, than the respects.! For I have mine with me, in my mind for all of you, in thoughts and actions all the while.Even a response such a funny/poor quality makes me do a rethink about myself and my thoughts. Love and regards.

Hope is eternal, waiting for the change, patience is a word, in a world, that has different styles of life, is one too finicky, to say the least, hoping and happy to be part of the change in present status of status quo.!

Jess, kindly give a few minutes to these thoughts, as I persue the profiles,,...... most of the profiles are longing to have not only good friends to communicate with, but also are on the look out for suitable groom / bride for their life, India has many sites for matrimony, but is oriented and claustrophobic with "caste" ruling the roost.India has population of one billion plus, of which the young of age between 21 and 34 years of age is above 33.8 percent, of these more than 60 percent are not yet committed in to "marriage", lifestyles have changed with great changes in information technology, both male and female adult work for their life, but longing for the spouse is certain, commitment levels may be different, fan IQ can be facilitator, charge for the services with links to sites of matrimony, with fan IQ having technical persons in place to screen the non serious, it may be  a good source of making the Fan IQ economically successful. The matrimony sites in India bleed the loggers with high charges, region, religion, caste and language classifications and charges for each category.!Love and regards, rajen.

Geez... I sort of feel... Like I am missing something...

I like the website and would greatly miss Pickem if the site were to fold or do away with Pickem... But it is just a place I like to visit and Pickem does provide valuable data...

Some seem a wee bit more attached to the site than me... Just my take...
