I think Ogilvy should have a big game after a poor showing against Illinois he has been inconsitant all year, he will have a good game then a bad game.If everything holds true then he is due a big game Im still not convinced he is better as  a junior than he was as a freshman.

Want to know something funny about this game?  This goes down as a home game for Western KY, even though it's in Nashville.  And a little correction to your poll- It is being played at the Sommet Center, not the friendly confines of Memorial Gym.

You are correct about the site of the game I didnt realize it was being played at Sommet until I read it in this mornings Tennessean,I dont understand why it is being counted as a home game for Western.....so much for the friendly confines statement I guess. Thanks for your comment

They are playing in what is being called the Sun Belt Classic they play the second game of a doubleheader in the first game Tennessee plays Middle Tennessee I guess that explains why Sun Belt Conference member Western is the home team.

Poor effort against Western with the exception of Taylor the rest of the Commodores didnt come to play.Looks like Ogilvy could be in Coach Stallings doghouse he didnt start and played only 15 minutes this kid has looked lost the last 2 games.

There seems to be serious chemistry issues with the Doors right now- Ogilvy doesn't get involved enough- They should have dominated that game in the paint over a much less experienced and undersized WKU front court.  Skinny a** Evans pushed his way around in the paint, and Vandy allowed him to look like an NBA talent.  I like Vandy (though I will never forget that 40+ pt blowout in Memorial Gym they put on my Wildcats a couple years ago), and I hope they can get it together to uplift the SEC in the national picture. Upperclassmen like Taylor, Ogilvy, and Tinsley need to put this team on their backs and I think they will- Why they could not stop a 6'1" guard (Slaughter) from penetrating the paint and scoring easy baskets, I cannot fathom, but their defense needs a lot of work.

I couldnt have said it any better this team is playing the same way they did last year no intensity at all. They play litte or no defense they dont rebound anything that requires effort they struggle in.This is Beal and Ogilvys team to lead and they are so far failing at that.I think that Stallings was showing his displeasure with them by not starting them against WKU.One thing for sure they better get there act together before conference play starts or they will be embarassed.

I think they will get it together. Stallings is a great coach.  I'm sure he was more than willing to pay the short-term price for benching Ogilvy and Beal early in that game, but it should pay off in the long run-  He sent a strong message, especially to all his young players, that if you don't do it in practice and you don't get after it 110%, you will lose playing time- no matter how talented you are.
