Ding dong Milton Bradleys gone!
As heart broken as I am over the departure of Milton Bradley ( I am being very facetious of course)  I am giving you a chance to say good bye, so have fun and make it good.

It's actually not nuts if you look at it sabermetrically. He was actually better than the average MLB player, even if you find that hard to believe.  The expectations were what killed him.  In 2008, he had a career year hitting .321, 22 HRs, 77 RBIs, and .436 OBP.
It's not expectations that killed him, it was the fact that he did not produce. Blamed it on every one including the fans. He was arrogant to begin with, then just turned ugly. H e did not ever try to say ok i'm having an off season, he just said everyone else sucks. I wish the Mariners and their fans good luck with him, not him.  And by the way I am truly an old school Cubs fan, I have never booed a Cub, until him.

I thought you where talking about the board game maker. LOL  Where is the other option?

I mean seriously, where would we be without the games, Operation, Mousetrap and Battleship ?

I'm going to miss him not being with the Cubs. That was the perfect place for him (speaking as a Cardinal fan)! LOL

As I told CubsGirl in another thread, they should have traded him for the Parker Brothers.
I loved him.

Lmao, oh thats funny. Hes the one I am always trying to pass but never do, you know theres got to be one in every group. all kidding aside hes as big as a Cubs fan as i am, and a fountain of useless trivia that will make him rich one day on jeopardy.  and hes one of my very best friends here. I have learned alot from him.

I'll take Marlon Byrd over Milton Bradley anyday.
Good bye Milton we wont miss you.

Milton Bradley is to baseball what Justin Diamond was to sex tapes, the type of thing you drink to forget.
Good bye Milton we wont miss you.

I think Cubs fans really overreacted in regards to Milton Bradley.  Even in a down year, Bradley was still above average with his bat and very patient at the plate.  I think he will bounce back with a good year in Seattle.
I loved him.

Above average?  That's nuts.  Here's his line
257 BA 12 HR 40RBI
95 strikeouts
101 hits
.378 OBP
66 BB 124 games
this is compared to Aramis Ramirez, who played in about half the games
.317 BA 15HR 65 RBI 82 games
I don't see above average anywhere.   I was for this signing when it happened.  Milton was the death of himself in Cubbie Nation.  Maybe he finds himself in Seattle.  But numbers don't lie and his certainly weren't good let alone above average.

It's actually not nuts if you look at it sabermetrically. He was actually better than the average MLB player, even if you find that hard to believe.  The expectations were what killed him.  In 2008, he had a career year hitting .321, 22 HRs, 77 RBIs, and .436 OBP.
