Jimmie Johnson is going to be tough to beat again this year. Alot of drivers will give him a run for the cup but I think he will prevail again. Unless he has a bunch of DNF's this next year, he will win again. Hendrick Motor Sports has the best people in the buisness working for them and that is the difference maker in this sport.
That may be the other drivers only shot is to have JJ have an extended period of bad luck,I mean if you think about what this 48 team is doing its incredible.Im not a JJ fan nor am I a JJ basher but I enjoy watching this team perfom every week at the track they are a credit to the sport of Stock Car racing.I see were you have Jr in your top 5 again I am not  a Jr. fan but I would like to see him have a good year,Im from the South and growing up I can remember when Nascar racing was still a regional Southern sport and the only way you could keep up with a race is to dial it in on WSM radio in Nashville, believe you me there is nothing like trying to listen to a race on a hot Sunday afternoon on a AM radio station, saying all that I guess that is why I would like to see Jr. do better he is one of the few Southern boys left in todays Nascar.

Is it possible that Jimmie Johnson can win 5 in a row? I will be the first to admit it wouldnt suprise me,but to be different I am going with Tony Stewart I look for  him and Stewart- Haas teamate Ryan Newman to be strong.Every team will have to step up its season to compete with the Hendrick cars they have built a racing dynasty to the likes we may never see again.

Being born and raised in the South I could not agree more!  Maybe Nascar needs to remember where its roots are at.  My grandfather always told me "Never forget where you come from"!

Speed week is finally upon us. Cant wait til the 14th for the 500 to be run. Should be a great season for all contenders in NASCAR this year. The powers that be finally realized that they need to let these guys run the cars the way they should be run, wide open for the most part. It will be interesting to see if the restrictor plate modifications will make Daytona and Talladega more interesting races. Lets go racing boys.
