Sorry, I bought that for my uncle.  Had I known....

I got the Wii and some games for it.
I'm now officially addicted to Wii Tennis.  I played it so much that I was sore, all over, at work the next day.    This is going to be BAD.

it is BAD. when i tell you i've been playing it until i passed out since friday, i mean it. I wonder how long Wii-itis last?

Well, I don't know how long it lasts, but I still have it since I now also have the game that has Table Tennis, and I'm a huge geek and love all that mess.
I'm starting up W.A. (Wii-aholics Anonymous) so we can gather, get support, share stories, play a normal gaming system, and tell how many days it's been since we last couldn't lift our arms above our heads.

#19 | 1761 days ago

I've insulted you enough today ... for now.  I'm gonna go ahead and let Ashlie have this one.
#20 | 1761 days ago

I received season 1 & 2 of 'Dexter' as one of my gifts.  I had never seen it before and am now pissed at myself for not watching it sooner.  It's easily one of my five favorite shows.  Ahh well, better late than never is what I always say.
#21 | 1761 days ago

Money and groceries, just what I needed.

And roommate got the 37" LCD so I'll just say that was a great addition, especially when we set it up yesterday before the games.

My sister has already been a member of W.A. for the past year, even had to go to the intensive treatment center. I tried to see her during her birthday, but all she asked was that I smuggle in a Wiimote inside a cake. I got a letter from her a few months ago that she was doing great, but I haven't seen her in far too long.

I got a new grandson 8 pounds 8 ounces.
We got $700 dollars in Gift cards from Home Depot and went and ordered a new oven.
But the best gift of all was a day spent with my mother w/o tears what a blessing.
Oh and I got a fleece pull over that says "I just realized I don't CARE." I resemble that remark.

thats cool but lets not start til february 1st. also, as long as we're not playing alone, it's not a "real" problem yet, right? I mean, we may be Wii lushes, but not quite Wii-aholics.

The Wii doesn't get real geeky until you start downloading all the old NES games (which I do of course).

I got the TimeLife "Ultimate Rock Ballads Collection"-- a dream for a child of the 1980s like me.

I love it - but I think I overdid it with my workout. My legs are so sore right now, it's a challenge to walk down the stairs in the morning. I tried doing some stretches and a low impact workout yesterday to see if I could work some of that soreness out but to no avail; I'm worse today . So...I adjusted my custom workout to have a little less lower body reps and more upper body stuff. One good thing about it is I know it's going to work if it makes me this sore!
#63 | 1758 days ago
