Do you watch sports on the computer? (Edited 10/05/10 11:26PM by Jess)
So I`m pissed off at how much my cable bill is for 150 channels I get and I rarely watch more than half a dozen of them so I change to basic cable. Then yesterday I`m getting ready for the Big Gold Medal Hockey game and realize I don`t get our major sports channel anymore! So off to the computer to at least get updates and low and behold the sports channel is showing the game on their website! Cooooool. Put that in your pipe and smoke it Cable Guy.

We have Direct TV at home and cable during the summer at the place where I boat, fish fish no snow anyhow, Direct TV shames cable. I heard Dish also shames the cable company. Cable fighting to keep local channels.

I watch a ton of sports on my computer. Buffering can be a b*tch but I deal with it.

back in my fancier days when i had internet and no tv, i would watch the goofy NFL gameday thing, i remember specifically a Bolts and Colts game. it's horribly frustrating. now i have neither so i listen to games on the radio.

Because of my bandwidth issues and my internet bill being $850! last month as a result, I won't be watching anymore videos on my computer.
#10 | 1662 days ago

I only watch it on my computer when the game (Kings game) is not televised.

with my plan I get 5 GBs to download. I rebooted my comp twice last month and had to download a lot. I went 3 GBs over, which they charge 25 cents per MB, which equals to $750 in additional charges.

Boycot Verizon Wireless internet!

My wireless provider warned me when I got a plan to stay away from videos, now I see why.

As you know Hockey, there's a lot of stuff that doesn't make to TV up here. So yeah. Sometimes I have to. I don't really mind that much tho. Most feeds are pretty stable and the quality is usually pretty good. Plus I don't mind having the announcers speaking Chinese or italian or whatever.

Wow to Kenne's problem, never encountered anything like that...

I watch whatever I can't get on my tv (Chiefs games mainly) through myP2P and streaming programs...some are really high quality and end up looking just as good on here as my television.
