He's too small. I HATED the fact that the Buccaneers picked him. I wanted them to trade down and pick Patrick Willis

Hahahahahahahahahaha.............good one. Honestly, I hope you are right. But comparing Adams to Freeney or Peppers!? Yikes....again, I wish.
Meanwhile, I am going to heap the same kind of praise on Willis. I believe he could become a Defensive Player of the Year some day. I think he will easily win Defensive ROY

MarkTheShark, there is no way Gains Adams is too small, he has tied the sack record at Clemson. Also he used to play 8 man football in the town that I live in. went to prep school and then really pushed his way through. If he is not as good as they say he is. then he should not have went in the 4th round period. Gains will do well on that side and he has the speed coming off the edge. He will do wonders for the Dline, and he will put pressure on the QB as you see when he played the other night, he batted down a pass. He did that all the time at Clemson and he will do it just as good or better with Tampa Bay. Just remember he went from 8 man football, to prep to college and now to the NFL, he has came a long way.

I'm very happy you chimed in. To be honest I saw where I was right and wrong on Friday night vs the Patriots. On his second play in the game he showed extraordinary athletic ability to be engaged with LT Matt Light and then in seemingly an instant leaped and batted down a Tom Brady pass. However, I also saw a Patriot running play where they ran right at him (a simple off tackle gap option run) and he was completely man-handled by the TIGHT END, not the tackle mind you the TE! But, the jury is still out and I know you watched him for years. I obviously hope I am wrong about him.
