(Edited by kobe_lova)

I assume because they dont give a damn about most of the things women want them to give a damn about.

On a sidenote: before my boyfriend and i lived together. If i called him a couple of times in a day and hadnt got a call back, I would text him...i'm pregnant. call me NOW!   He would call within like 5 minutes and say i know you are lying. i would laugh and say but it works every time though. I told him you know it's not true but you are still going to make sure. So he would ask me what i wanted that was sooo important and i would always say something stupid like...oh i just wanted to say hey baby, how u doing? whatchu doing (knowing he was at work). He would be like God! and just hang up...good times.

edit: i made my post before marcus' showed up, so i guess i was right

Women are lying if they say that they haven't ever lost interest in a conversation and slowly drifted out.  It happens. Doesn't mean you don't care about the person or what's happening to them.

"...if a man is gay isnt he HAPPY?"
Depends on if he's getting some or not.

And shutup, Lainey ... I was kidding.    Don't start "Male vs. Female Bitch Fest Apostrophe Ten, Colon Round Two" (yes, for the new year I've decided it would be funny to fully type out punctuation ... for the hell of it)  in here!

maybe just maybe in some cases it's really not the man's fault at all but the woman with him.......was married for a very long time and just so some of you who have this tendecy to put every man down for every little fault maybe just maybe that is the reason the man is shutting you out.......try talking to him instead of talking at him and stop putting him down.when you air your problems with your bf's husband's or whatever here on the Q instead of with your partner your partner isn't the one with the problem you are........you're taking your problems to the people here on the Q instead of talking to the person you are having the problem with.also if you are a woman and you hate men as much as you act like you do here on the Q might i suggest that maybe you need to look into same sex relationships since the ones with men aren't working for you.

It is all about timing. My wife works night and I work days so we have limited together time during the week, so we make the most of the time we have together. She says something serious, I make a crude reply back, she either laughs or tells me to shut up and we go back to talking. Life is good. LOL. Now I had girlfriend once who believed the sun revolved her and what she wanted to talk about or do.  Worst three years of my life! If I was listening to her, oooh there was heck to pay.

I don't mind listening to the point, but GET to it. I don't need to know what your friend was wearing when she decided to whore herself out to the guy in the next cube. Just tell me "Suzy Q did her co-worker in the janitors closet, and wonders why he won't call her".  I don't need to know where everyone was sitting in the car, on what street, what was playing on the radio, and the name of the old bar on the corner when your drunk girlfriend flashed the cop to try to get out of the ticket. Just tell me"Suzy Q blew a red light, whipped out her DD's and tried to get out of the ticket, but the cop was her Uncle's best friend" Thats it. And please understand that in both cases my response  to your stories will be "your friend is easy, does she have sister?"

Well, maybe you men just have to be more patient and understanding. That is just how we are, i guess you have another option....... If you were Gay then you would not have to worry about woman going on and on about what is important to us. That is not true. Here I go being lumped in with the word ALL. I guess my side is opposite. I do the talking and she NEVER listens. I talk about law, she watches "Desperate House Wives", I bring up the worlds reservior and she's now watching "You think You Can Dance". I tell her your breakfast will be ready in 2 mins, she comes down 22 mins later looking around and I've finished my breakfast, hers is cold. She says "I didn't hear you, sorry". I say, "I'm not", breakfast is better hot. laughs. Poor strawberry blonde....

I am sure you're glad you don't know the answer....lol, you are right, most think ALL men are the same, hence the problem. When they do meet the right one, either he's gay or unattractive. You can't win. we just have to enjoy the company and be glad that we have a listener and if you don't that means you do ALL the talking, ALL the time. After a few tries, i mutter to myself and she asks, "what did you say"? I say "huh"? I was talking to myself. She then says "What were you talking to yourself about"? I don't answer with a blank stare as if I have just flipped my lid and ask, "Can you get me a beer"?
