Former wrestlers or gen.managers are ok but, bringing celebrities that have no clue what WWE is all about is ridiculous.

I totally agree with you. I got excited when they started with the hosts b/c I thought it would be more hall of famers that noone has seen in a long time. It has turned into a big publicity stunt for stars that know nothing about sports entertainment to promote movies and/or books. What a crock! Seems like every year Vince sells out a bit more. I think that if done right the hosts for RAW would be great. Bring back more superstars of the 80's early 90's and watch the ratings climb ever higher than they have so far. I mean just look at the response to Bret Hart...enough said.

Yup, Vince is all about where the next buck is coming from. As long as you give him $$$$$$, you're welcome on the show.
I'm surprised  "The Rock" hasn't been on yet pushing his movie!

The Rock seems to be the only one that hasn't used his experience with the WWE to promote anything. He seems to have truly removed himself from it completely and while I was a big fan of his and would love to see him back I think that he's better off in movies away from the drama of wrestling. Although I know he'd make a better host than some coming up...like Jerry Springer and William Shatner. I'm not sure I want to know what they will promote..lol..Should be interesting!

I like it. It gives every week's show a different look, different feel. You never know what the guest host is going to agree to. They even had a host get beaten up by a wrestler (Freddie Prinze/Randy Orton).

i think it good to have a guest host everyday cause you can see all the stars you like and the ones you hate

In general I really am not a fan of the guest host bit. Pretty much every week the guest host disagrees with Randy Orton/Legacy and agrees with Cena. Agrees with DX and disagrees with Jericho. Too often the guest is too busy trying to promote whatever he/she wants to promote to concentrate on the show itself and many of the guests definately do not watch the show. I love NASCAR, but Joey Logano and Kyle Busch were not very good, and I think I remember Kyle calling Kofi Kingston Kofi Johnson...

The guest shouldn't be allowed to be inserted into matches...take Seth Green and whoever the idiot was last week and Mike Tyson. The show sort of demeans the wrestling when they have some of these people involved in the matches, so please Vince unless they are former wrestlers...if you are going to keep the guest hosts then at least keep them out of the ring...oh and while we're at it STOP THE JERICHO EMBARGO!!!

William Shatner was friggin' hilarious last week.  There have been a few that bombed (Jon Heder and Dennis Miller come to mind), but for the most part, they've had some good story-lines with the guests.

Report: Why The Rock Turned Down WWE's Offer to Host Raw
by Nick Paglino
Jan 08, 2010

We reported awhile back that Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson had been asked by WWE to guest host this coming Monday's edition of Raw, however Johnson turned down the offer.

The Wrestling Observer is now reporting that Johnson turned down WWE's offer to host the show because he will be in Mexico this Sunday and Monday promoting his upcoming movie "Tooth Fairy" which comes out the following week.

It should be noted that 20th Century Fox, the film's distributor, is billing Johnson as Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson for the first time in quite awhile. Johsnon had dropped "The Rock" name several films ago and said he would not go back to being referred to as "The Rock," however there's apparently a line in "Tooth Fairy" that says "get ready to get rocked." So, the studio thought it would be a fun play on words to have Johnson use "The Rock" name as his billing in the movie to help generate hype. It's very doubtful that Johnson will go back to using "The Rock" in his name for future films, as this appears to be specific to "Tooth Fairy."

***********************************************************************************************************************************************

I think that if "The Rock" were going to host RAW he would have already booked it and everything that I read says otherwise so until I see and hear him announced I won't believe it. Stone Cold will be hosting in march though unless something happens where he can't. (from what I've heard)

Yea it is depends on the guest hosts. Some of the guest hosts were funny and some of them made some good matches.I loved the one with Shaq and the Big Show now that was awesome .If we didn't have raw's guest host and vicky and her famous lines of  "Excuse Me!  I said Excuse Me!X3"not retiring that will just be i don't know what it would lead to but kind of a mess.I think she doing better on smackdown being one of those assistants for Long but she is still kind of annoying with her lines.
