So we finish the 18th and he's gonna stiff me. And I say, "Hey, (Dalai) Lama, how about a little something, you know, for the effort, you know?" And he says, "Oh, uh, there won't be any money, but when you die, on your deathbed, you will receive total consciousness." So I got that going for me, which is nice.

(One of my fave movies lines. LOL)

Caddy shack is my favorite.  Close seconds are Stripes, Meatballs, Scrooged, What about Bob, and first Ghost Busters movie.

That's a great line, I guess I am the only Rushmore fan, one favorite line of mine:

  'I understand you're a neurosurgeon.'
"No, I am a barber....but alot of people make that mistake."

Rushmore

I loved him in Caddyshack, but actually he was such an ass in Kingpin that I had to pick that role as my favorite.

Part of Scrooged was filmed on the Block that I grew up on, so I am partial to that one. I have also met Bill Murray once and he was a great guy, who is extremely funny. Nice Poll.

While I like Caddyshack the most by far from this list, it never was much of a Bill Murray movie for me - him in What About Bob? and Groundhog Day I enjoyed much more with Bill.

One of his best movies and totally under appreciated movies was 'Where the Buffalo Roam'. His biography of Hunter S. Thompson that was so dead on that Hunter Thompson wanted him dead. Much better than the Johnny Depp portrayal in Fear & Loathing.

I liked What About Bob?, the funniest thing about that movie is that Bill Murray and Richard Dreyfus can't stand each other in real life either.

Both wrong  -- "License to kill gophers by the government of the United Nations. Man, free to kill gophers at will. To kill, you must know your enemy, and in this case my enemy is a varmint. And a varmint will never quit - ever. They're like the Viet Cong - Varmint Cong. So you have to fall back on superior intelligence and superior firepower. And that's all she wrote."
