It might be stupid, and a lil illegal, but its mine.
I have a 'Stupid Little Bucket List'.. its not really things that people would normally put on their list.. but hey.. its mine.

here are a few of them:

I want a round of applause... nobody has ever clapped for me. (sad)
I want to slap someone in the face.. doesn't need to be hard, just want to see what it feels like.
I want to DJ a night at a bar.. I pick half the songs they play anyway...
I want to break a window.. I'm not picky, can be a car, or a house.. just not mine.
I want to go to the airport and just go somewhere... no luggage, no plans, just go.
I want to whip sh*tty's on a frozen lake... But I have to steal a car to do this, and I have to conquer my fear of the frozen lake.
I want to conquer my fear of heights and water...
I want to sit in a tub of seed beads.
I want to be in a full on food fight.

 This is the way I see it. You don't ever, ever, EVER want to do everything on your bucket list, cause when you do you are just asking for death to come . It's like saying ok here I am I've done everything on my list, so i'll just be here waiting.  But doing a couple of things is ok. 
1. I want to wear red goulashes and a yellow raincoat while dancing with someone in the rain.
2. I want to be at Wrigley Field watching the Cubs in OCTOBER.
3. I want to see the sun rise in Norway.

 I want to drive a really really fast car at the Bonnevile Salt Flats
I want to go to the Daytona 500 (I will somehow too)
I want to visit a whole lot of the very good friends I have met on the Q in real life and take a full year to do it
I want to ride my quad to Redfern Lake and spend at least two weeks doing so and exploring the lake
I want to be "just that hot" once more before everyone refers to me as "the ol' lady"

I'll think of more I'm sure...........

I want to get a specific tattoo on my foot.
I want to teach someone who will eventually be president or play a professional sport.
I want to learn how to play the guitar.
I want to punch someone (the governor or anyone in the CA gov't) in the face.
I want to play ice hockey (I've played roller hockey..but not ice hockey).

I want to ride on a train too, I never have. In one of those overnight cars with the Murphy bed and a tiny airplane bathroom.
I want to catch a fowl ball at a game and give it to a kid or whoever. I don't really want the ball, I just want to catch it. One hand.
I want a muscle car.
I want to write a biography, but a fake one like a mockumentary, about someone almost famous.
I want to fly a plane. Solo.
I want a gorilla that understands sign language.
I want to believe.
I want to see my Saints win the Super Bowl.

your #1 happened to me. I've been in programs at church so i've been clapped for out of obligation before but thats something different. My kid is potty training so she came into the restroom with me at my moms.  I peed and then she screamed YEA!! and clapped for me, said they good girl, alright  thing, and proceeded to do the pee pee in the potty dance i taught her. It was too cute. When i came out I told my sisters and brother that i loved it and from now on they are to clap for me after i go potty!

My list:
1. to own a .50 Desert Eagle (thanks for reminding me jason)
2. to sell my collard greens, mac and cheese, or lasagna in  restaurants. I guess i should say own an eatery.
3. Go to a game in Green Bay.
4. Go to Ireland.
5. Be in a music video and a movie.
6. this is for the 20 that i'm forgetting right now....oh...and spend a day and night with matthew mcconaughey or matt damon or lance gross.

2) Watch the earth from outerspace
3) Kick Mexico's president where it hurts the most.
4) Eat goodies and coffee all day long (wait..I do that almost every day)

 1. Fly in a P-51 Mustang
2. Drive a Fire Truck with lights and siren on down a busy highway
3. Take a professional driving course, like they teach to Secret Service and other professional drivers
4. Knock down a building with heavy machinery, clean up the lot including hauling away the debris in a dump truck and restore to the land to its natural state or plant crops
5. Play a round of golf at St Andrews Golf Course
6. Watch a sunrise on the rocks in Arcadia National Park, in ME with my wife and watch a sunset in Key West, FL with my wife
7. Drive Rt 66 with my wife in convertible (convertible is her idea, I just want to drive across country)
8. Become a gentleman farmer with a couple hundred of acres and use the crops and animals to help others
9. Visit all 50 state capitols with my family
10. Go Camping in every state park in Virginia with my family
11. Shoot a 50 cal machine gun
12. Watch my kids graduate from HS & College
13. Join the Mile Club
14. Watch Sunset and Sunrise in Alaska

Just a few.. I left out the all juicy ones involving sex!

 on the train with the sleeping car.  I always thought that looked pretty damned cool and would be a fun way to travel a long distance.

I want to retire in Ireland and open a pub. (I already have the last name for it).

I want to live long enough that I can laugh "I told you so" at all the doubters of global warming as I return to my childhood home in now seaside Atlanta.

I have done 2, 3, 4 and 14 - I tried 8 and it was the most awesome experience, but circumstances dicated I give it up. as for 2, I was a firefighter for 12 years, we all took the professional driving course.  One of the fires we fought resulted in the loss of two lives, grandparents to the person who had set the fire - he committed suicide right after he set fire to his grandparents house.  The family decision was to remove all evidence of the house and return the lad to it's virginal state and we firefighters all helped do that.  All that remains is a bench (made from natural wood in the area) and two trees, planted in honor of the grandparents. 

Thank you for reminding me of this.  Although two lives were lost in this fire, a positive result came from their loss.  The bench, overlooked Skidegate Bay is a place many people go to "speak" with their loved ones who have passed.  It is one of the proudest times in my many years as a firefighter.
