Michael Vick and YOUR Favorite Team
There has been quite a bit of argument on FanIQ lately about the "quality of QB" that Michael Vick actually is in the NFL!  So I decided to take a little poll and see exactly where Michael Vick would fit in if he were on YOUR FAVORITE TEAM!  So here goes......             *********  PLEASE, lets try to keep this argument (that WILL ensueMichael Vick and YOUR Favorite Team Photo) to a minimum!

#1- the Falcons, #2- He's been there and enough damage has been done the first go around, #3- He is a tremendous talent, but I will always believe when he drops back, the first thing that comes to his mind is run. I like mobile QBs, but I want one that will/can drop back and plant his feet, then throw... keeping the run as the last option. He needs to be in Oakland, it just seems like a fit to me.

Dallas Cowboys:  Tony Romo Career Stats ( 3 1/2 years as a Starter):  63.4 Career Completion Percentage,  95.6 Career Passer Rating,  110 Career TD's (107 passing, 3 rushing).........         Michael Vick Career Stats ( 5 1/2 years as a Starter):  53.7 Career Completion Percentage,  75.9 Career Passer Rating,  95 Career TD's ( 72 passing,  23 rushing)........        I think that pretty much says it all......         Tony Romo has only played for a little over 3 1/2 years total (even though he has been on the Cowboys roster for 6 years- he NEVER played his first two years),  Vick has PLAYED in the NFL for 7 years (twice as long as Romo) and his stats aren't even close to Romo's stats!  LOL    Also I WOULD NOT WANT Vick on the Cowboys roster at all. Jerry Jones already "purged" the roster of all the "headaches"- they don't need anymore of them!

Vick is currently on my favorite team, the Eagles. He probably will not be there next season. Hopefully, his touchdown pass in the playoff game will entice some teams to envision him as their QB, and offer the Eagles a nice 2nd or 3rd round draft pick in exchange for him.

Like beaneaters, I see Vick as a perfect Raider...I hope ANdy Reid has Al Davis' number on speed-dial.

2. No, he doesn't fit.
3. HELL NO!  The man has no accuracy, and should be taught how to correctly carry the ball and be converted to a RB.

Dallas Cowboys..... I do not think this would be a place for a person like Michael Vick... However, to keep from starting an argument I shall keep my opinions to myself.. I have aired them before on here and see no need to do so again....And finally, I do not see him as a great quarter back..

Ben Roethlishberger has 2 Superbowl rings. Michael Vick is a convicted felon and should still be in prison for the unspeakable cruelty to those dogs. Caution I LOVE animals especially dogs. If a human can be that cruel to an animal just how cruel can they be to a child or the elderly they are no match for him either. Any team that would let him play is an embarassment. Shame on the NFL for letting him back in the league. You know it'sa proven fact that serial killers were cruel to animals.

My favorite team is the Falcons and I don't think he's allowed within 500 yards of their facilities. My second-favorite, I guess, or more "I follow them because they're the local team" is the Broncos. And no, he would not be an upgrade over Kyle Orton. Read that again... Michael Vick would not be an upgrade over Kyle Orton. Now, if Philadelphia does want to trade, Donovan McNabb would be an upgrade over Kyle Orton, but that's another discussion.

However, the Denver offense averaged a less-than-pedestrian 19 points per game-- so any offensive weapon could help. Maybe as a WR or taking the snap in a Wildcat formation. I love dogs as well and can't honestly predict how I would feel having him on any team I follow. But, he officially paid his debt to society, and maybe he's rehabilitated. I prefer to give people the benefit of the doubt, rather than succumb to complete cynicism.

Peyton Manning, Drew Brees, Tom Brady, Ben Roethlisberger, Phillip Rivers, Carson Palmer, Aaron Rodgers, Tony Romo, Matt Schaub, Donovan McNabb.

Off the top of my head, those are the "Top 10 NFL Quarterbacks"... not necessarily in order. No way, at no point in his career, does Vick crack that list. I even took Matt Ryan off the list because I think he's close-- maybe #11-12-- but not quite there. Of any QB's with skill sets remotely close to Vick's, the first I think of is Vince Young, and he's a FAR superior QB to Vick.

1. Houston Texans (Matt Schaub)
2. No. I don't see that he'd improve the team in any way, and I don't care for him as a person.
3. While he was an exciting player, I never considered him a Top 10 NFL Quarterback.

This poll is hilarious considering you pretty much start all of the Michael Vick arguments. He's not a starter on my team but he is a starter.i would want him but not as  a starter on MY team(s). I told yall the other day that he is not a top 10 QB and anyone that says different is not being objective.

The Saints have been my favorite team since their beginning in 1967. They have had a woeful overall record through the years, and have had many starting QB's. I can not think of one who Vick could have beaten out.

I think a winning team has much to do with chemistry and team play, so I definitely would not want an "all about Me" player like Vick on my team.

Michael Vick is a gifted athlete, and has the talent to play in the NFL... just not at QB. I don't believe he would be an upgrade over more than 3 or 4 current starting QB's. One of the most important qualities of a QB is leadership... something Vick has never shown. The fact that he is a mediocre passer is secondary, but also very relevant.

1. Steelers- Ben Roethlisberger
2. No- He doesn't fit in with our offense and he makes too much money to be a backup.
3. No- Vick is not your average QB. He has a rocket arm, but no accuracy. Also, Vick is a running QB. When you think of elite QBs, you think of accurate throwing. Also, an elite QB's style usally pocket passing, not scrambling.
