I've been out of town on vacation with family since last Thursday, so I apologize for leaving you folks News-less.  To make up for it, I did some digging this morning  and found plenty to laugh about!  To preface:  Simpletons make us look like geniuses!

The Gear Daddies said it best when they said, "I want to drive the [Olympia]" ... right, right, you were thinking Zamboni ... well, the Olympic Committee in Canada were thinking 'Olympia,' Zamboni's competitor, because that's who they contracted with to work the ice.  How ironic that the zamboni  ice resurfacer 'S stopped working, all of a sudden, during the 3,000m and 500m competitions, on consecutive days.

I wanted to put a Canuck joke here, but I read plenty of comments from Canadians who are embarrassed, so I'll be nice.  Really, though, 'ice resurfacer?'  The dude in charge of replacing the Fn thing even called it a zamboni!  WTFnF is going on up there??? (http://www.calgaryherald.com/technology/Zamboni+threatens+Olympic+Oval+green+ambitions/2570448/story.html)

In San Fran, Becky may be glad to hear, that some psuedo-geniuses got the bright idea to go stand on some rocks, right up on the beach, to watch a big-surf competition, and were ultimately pummeled by a "Sneaky" wave.  Apparently the wave is not allowed to be referred to as a "Rogue" wave due to it's size and the fact that it was close to the shoreline ... although the NOAA (some bigwig weather gurus) did say that the term "Rogue" was only "Loosely" defined as a single wave about doubled in size of the waves around it.

What that means, kids ...
When a "rogue" wave hits the beach, it's no longer "rogue" ... in fact it'll probly be described as an "Almost tsunami" ....
Since a tsunami is really a series of waves, and small tsunamis are already called meteotsunamis
A "sneaky" wave is a wave that's slightly smaller than a rogue wave, but larger than a "regular" wave, unless it's out to sea; in which case it's a "large wave ....... all by itself."

And if you're standing on the shoreline, on some Fn rocks, with posted warnings, policemen and other rescue workers there, and they're farther from the shoreline, BECAUSE you want a better look at some Fn surfers .................... YOU'RE A FN DUN-DAH-DUHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

TAKING THE CAKE THIS MORNING ...

Mt. St. Helens made the headllines again, although this time it only received Honorable Mention in the article, since it didn't swallow or spit a human or molten lava or anything like that.  Nope.  Instead a hiker very familiar with it's summit, considering he's been there about 60 times, decided he wanted yet another picture from the top .... right next to that big thing .... what do you call it?  Oh right, the Fn hole on top!!!  Standing on only snow/ice, it ultimately gave way, and he fell in!  Rescuers have their work cut out for them on this one.  I hope the dude survives, I'm not a cynic, but ...........................

Seriously!  I mean, nobody's ever ACTUALLY told me, "Hey, Wiggle, don't go play on top of a volcano," but ..... I did learn the hard way about sticking my hand in the oven, and this little girl in my 3rd grade class drew this wicked awesome picture of a volcano spitting fire out of it ..................

I guess you could say I connected the dots on this one.

Olympic hockey starts this afternoon .. and I'll be at work .. but thank heavens for DVR .. and damn the f'ers who will spoil the results

For those that say health care doesn't need to see drastic change, the cost of my 11 stitches is now over $3,000.. But oh thank heavens I pay a couple hundred dollars a month for health insurance, because I am only responsible for $900 of it.. ugh
You think they'll take a $900 check soaked in dog urine and feces? We'll find out in about a week or so

Happy Tuesday everybody, don't work too hard

Good Morning All!

Awww---the joys of furlough days. You either accept this or you lose teachers and increase classroom size....so basically you get screwed either way. Surprising how far down the list education is till the kids start being home more.

I too am DVRing the Olympic hockey games---------------not sure who the US will start in goal, but Quick should get at least one game. Not that this matters, but he has beaten both of the other US goalies. Go Brown and Johnson! USA USA USA

Never had a fava bean, but I bet it goes well with Chianti.

Tuesday morning rant...

Guess who's a F'n retard???  That's right folks, its me!  So yesterday was some kinda holiday right.  Nope, I didn't hear about it, so I stroll in through the front door at work, and the officer at the front desk looks up at me and says "what are you doing here, sir".  I guess the empty parking lot shoulda been a clue, huh?  And another thing, is this G*d d*mn snow EVER going to melt?  Olympic figure skating is a F'n joke.  There's more politics played there than in the bowels of D.C.  Congrats to the Canadians on their first home gold.  Still haven't got an explanation on why I can't own a Canadian, but I figure that gold medal just drove the price up.  On a lighter note, my in-laws went home yesterday.

Okay, I got more.  I only heard part of this stupid f*cking story today on the news, so I may have the facts wrong.  Hell, that never stopped Tom Brokaw.  What the F*ck is the deal on the American Hockey goalies helmet?  Some commie b*st*rd says the logo isn't F'n legal so he has to have it removed?  I say we take the eagle sticker off the F'n helmet, roll it up nice and tight, and stick it straight up somebody's a**!!!.

While you two birds discuss which record this is ...

Have either of you heard about the proposal in Utah?  They're discussing cutting out 12th Grade ... well not entirely.  Giving the kids and parents the option of skipping it if you have the credits.  The senator in charge discusses his rationale in this video, and within about a minute of him talking I had to pause it and write this (if you watch, skip the first minute ... yawner).

Some of his points if you don't wanna listen,

$1,000 scholarship available to takers
AP Classes transferable to college

What a Fn yutz!!!  $1,000 for college?  Where the F is anyone going to go to school and have a $1000 get them more than a semester's worth of books?  "Congratulations on finishing high school early, Kid!  Skip the prom, skip all that B.S., here are some books we didn't properly teach you how to read," .... 'dankyew dont kum agen'

And anyone who's ever attended a college probably heard around the campus that AP Classes in high school are RARELY accepted as credits, and IF they are ... typically only as half credits ... so you still take the same Fn classes as everyone else ... "Congratulations for being such a Fn nerd all those years of high school ..... you're still just as Fn clueless as the rest of us ..... want a lollipop, SUCKER!!!!"

BETTER IDEA:

Mandatory Pre-K!  That way in Kindergarten there aren't as many dumbs***s who can't recite any letters of the Fn alphabet, because their parents were Fn too D-bag'ish to start teaching them on their Fn own!!

Or ... OR

How about we use the Fn money that gets put into our Fn high schools to actually teach the s*** that children NEED to Fn know BEFORE they get to Fn college!!  That way WE don't have to spend so Fn much on college learning the F ups that were taught to us ALL through Fn K-12, because Dumb-F's like you don't diddly-Fn-d*ckydoo about Fn education!!!!  HOW ABOUT THAT F-head????

Jeezus.  There is nothing that brings a tear to my eye quite like the proper usage of the F'Bomb, as demonstrated here by our resident expert, McWiggles.  Note that each bomb not only has the proper distance, but lob and trajectory are spot on.

Not only is it an Olympic sport, it's probably the best sport I've ever seen on this HD tv. Seriously. I love curling.

The Germany/US match finished up 30 min ago (hockey now, eww...) on USA and that was in HD, but women's should be on CNBC in a couple of hours - CNBC isn't an HD channel for cable or dish though.

I hate myself for taking the bait, but...
You THINK you had a threesome last week?  I mean, I've done some hard drinking/drugs in my day, and had my share of black-outs, but that's something I think I would remember, regardless.  Do tell.

How hard can "Curling" really be? It looks like fun.  Considering Canada's Lady team has a 5 1/2 month pregnant team member!

If she would have sat out when things got hard before, she wouldn't be pregnant now, would she?

STFU! I'd rather she was 8-9 months, that way the babe would probably be okay if something happened and it needed to come out. 5 1/2 mos. Not so much. PREGNANT WOMEN...hear you roar! Okay. You're responsible for another life. SIT YOUR ASS DOWN!

I will see it because it's a Scorsese/DiCaprio film.. But the fact that the release was pushed back to after oscar consideration and a random February date makes me a little hesitant
