NASCAR to Add More Potholes in Upcoming Events
Following one of the most exciting Daytona 500 races in history; NASCAR officials embraced their troubles with potholes on the track surface by announcing that future events would indeed see more hazards introduced during the race.

"Let's face it. Our audience likes to see a bunch of southern boys trade paint and crash once in a while. It would be like the good old days of street racing complete with bumpy asphalt, pot holes, and roadkill to avoid on your way to victory", says NASCAR race official, Ted "Bump" Hardash. "The fans are sick of watching 30 cars, in line, driving 500 miles by turning left. Let's toss an armadillo out there and see what happens".

Self-proclaimed "Superfan" Timmy Milktoaston, president of the NASCAR Official Live Interactive Fans & Enthusiasts club says, "It sure was exciting out there. We can't wait to see how they will prep the road for the Indianapolis Brickyard race. Other members of NOLIFE agree, we can't wait for the next race".

Hardash wasn't willing to talk about specifics in advance of any given race, but indicated that was his plan. "We want to keep the new race challenges a secret, and really keep our drivers on their toes. Maybe a little oil spill, a couple of dead Possums, and a pothole or two, but it will be different for each race. It should be about driving skill after all, and hell, if you can avoid a wandering chicken on the track on your way to victory, all the better for the fans

 I saw that gleam in Jrs eyes.  If nothing happens to change it, i see a good season for him.  I was up screaming at home and trying to push him into first place Sunday.  I haven't been that excited in years watching a race.  i didn't mind the red flag at all.  We got to see and hear from some drivers that don't get to talk much .  Congrats to Jamie, he sure surprised me.  looking forward to the next race.

 I think they should just let Kyle Busch and Tony Stewart go out there and run like the old moonshiners, with the other cars trying to catch 'em, swapping some paint along the way...

I don't think Shrub could have handled the moonshining racing days.  He might get dirty!

  I think they should let them all race around the walmart parking lot on a windy day. Let's see if they can avoid all those carts swirling around at 40 mph!

That was so awesome to see!  It reminded me of the 2001 Daytona Pepsi 400 when JR charged through the field to win.

 As a fan in the stand I was none to thrilled about the delays,BUT it's gotta happen some time I guess. If I could go back next week and do it over I would in a New York min. Had the time of my life with the girls making memories, and i guess that's what it's all about. GOTTA LUV NASCAR.

Was pretty aggravating for sure. I have never left a race before, but about halfway through the first hour and 45 min caution, the sun was going down and it was pretty damn cold, so we packed it in and headed to the bar, and watched the ending there. Was glad, after there was another 45 minute caution over the damn hole..LOL

I am thoroughly convinced now, that if I am not at the race Junyah will do good..LOL That was so awesome to watch...Gonna be an Earnhardt year!!

 This year is going to be a much better year for Junior. He has that determination back in his talk again and that little ornery grin on his face. You can hear it when he talks that he is 100% focused again and I couldn't be happier for him. He's definitely going to  win some races this year!!   JUNIOR NATION ~ LOUD N PROUD!!
