For better or worse, I think 7 of the 8 teams will be identical to last season's group. The only change I see is Seattle winning the AL West over LA.
1. New York Yankees  2. Seattle Mariners  3. Minnesota Twins  4. Boston Red Sox  5. Philadelphia Phillies  6. St. Louis Cardinals  7. Colorado Rockies  8. Los Angeles Dodgers

I'm with you on that with 1 exception, the AL Central.    I see the Tigers winning that, but of course that could still be a pick clouded by my hope for Jim Leyland to succeed.

The Tigers could upset the Twins. Ask me again on Labor Day ;)

With an outfield that now is pretty set on Guillen, Damon, and Ordonez (also losing Jackson, Granderson), I won't put much doubt in the Tigers being third, possibly even fourth in the Central (I'm strangely high on the Royals for their FA pickups and trades this offseason). White Sox will be a bigger threat to Minnesota just because of their pitching, but even Beckham could carry that team offensively for a week at a time.

All that said, Twins still take the division by 10+ games, in my biased opinion.

You are aware there has to be an AL West team that makes the playoffs, right?

You my stalker now? Roommate wanted to take over as far as the videogames, so my second plan is on here while watching my man-crushes of Jonny Flynn and Blake Hoffarber.

The Giants are my dark horse to surprise everyone and represent the NL in the World Series.  I see the Yankees repping the AL and winning their second straight WS.

In my completely biased, red and blue colored glasses, I'm picking Atlanta to win the NL wild card (they just don't have the firepower on offense to overtake the Phillies).  But they have great pitching, and a team with a good pitching staff can do damage in the post season.

With this being Bobby Cox's last season, I'll be wearing these biased colored glasses up until the season ends.  I really want the Braves to send him out on a high note.

High Note?  You want the Braves team to goose Cox?

I have St. Louis over Seattle in the World Series. I just hope the Reds can prove me wrong (then again, I hope every year).
