Rank the teams as of the Olympic Break

The record shown is the older W-L-T format...  Where OT wins and losses are counted as wins and losses and all games that went to a shootout are counted as ties.  This gives you a much better idea of how the team is REALLY doing.

Wow, you are really hardcore with the old school formats.

I just don't like how OT and SO wins are all counted as wins but OT and SO losses aren't counted as losses.  Doesn't make sense to me.  It makes every team look like they have a better record than they really do.

The Sharks are looking to avenge last years first round exit, and will be very hard to beat in the West, and the Pens and Caps are headed for another showdown for supremacy in the East.

The only team the Kings have yet to beat in my top 10 are the Vancouver Canucks. 3-3 versus the Sharks, beat the Capitals, Devils, Sabres, and Senators (beat the Penguins this year also, but they aren't on my list), winning record against the Coyotes this year, still have a game left against the Blackhawks, and blanked the Avalanche in their first duel last Saturday. My point-----if you include the Avs or Coyotes in your top ten, you should have the Kings there too.

I have the Kings at #8!!

And I promise my list is made with no emotional bias whatsoever.
