I'm glad to see it coming back.  The wing just made the cars look different than we are use to.  I guess I'm old school. I like the cars to look like race cars and not so modified.

about time they got rid of that whale tail on the back.  Now if they would do something about that snow plow in the front and get back to looking like a race car all would be good in my world.

It doesn't matter one way or the other to me, just as long as they keep the safety and work more on "equal" competition so I can see some real racing between all teams/drivers, not just the big teams.  That should be the major concern right now and not the way the cars look.

There is supposed to be no difference in down force between the spoiler and the wing.  NASCAR has said over and over again on SIRIUS that it is an esthetic decision only, based on requests from the NASCAR fans who hated the look of the wing.  They claim the only benefit of the spoiler over the wing will be the increased vision thru the back window.
Whatever the reasons or the benefits, I'm loving the decision.

Well that, kind sir, is a matter of opinion.  Just as I pay attention to what is coming up behind me while driving on the highway, or especially coming to a stop sign or a red light, I think it is important for a driver to see who is coming up behind them.  Collisions can be averted by a driver paying attention to a driver behind them not paying attention.  But as I said, it's a matter of opinion, and mine is that the spoiler is better for vision as well as appearance.

I think the cars look much better now. I've heard no complaints from the drivers.

I think it is a good thing and will make the races better, it was more exciting when they ran with them in the past. Added to the bump/draft, no holds barred new spin on it, looks to be very interesting on some of these tracks coming up. Show 'em how it's done Number 5!!

They seriously need to fix the lights in Vegas, cautions due to malfunctions is bummin! And all the pit penalties! - wow! - not sure i've ever seen that many in one race before - maybe they were practicing with the NFL Refs!???

Unfortunately his worst finish is 35th his first time there, his next worst finish is 10th. So that is a track he is real good, thanks to Gordon giving him his setup after his first start there.

I'm glad to see that ugly thing go, now we're gettin somewhere. All thay need to do is take that plow off the front end and we might just have a decent race car again. I pretty much agree, I loved the looks of the cars from the 80's. Anything they can do to keep these cars on their wheels is an improvement. There have been a lot of real scary moments in the COT.
