The Starting pitching should be solid with Verlander, Porcello, Scherzer and if Bonderman can contribute and stay injury free they should have a very good rotation. The Bullpen should be better with the addition of Valverde as the closer and Zumaya and Perry having  another year under their belt. The addition of Phil Coke and Daniel Schlereth added more depth to the bullpen also. Now if they can get the bats to be consistent (a problem last year) they'll be in the race for the division all year.....Now "Let's Play Ball!!" GO TIGERS!!!!

Detroit is stacked through their entire line-up (but beware - the Indians are young, and have no real expectations this season (they always seem to do better when nobody's "watching" ))

Wow, its not like they were in last place or had one of the worst records. I guess not making the playoffs to some people means a dreadful season.
