Yes, but under one condition.  At AL parks, no DH.  At NL parks. utilize the DH.  That would let fans see a different style of ball.

I love Interleague play, but the networks need to stop focusing so much on the White Sox-Cubs, Yankees-Mets, and put on games like the Dodgers-Angels, or Cards-Royals.
FOX and ESPN put so much emphasis on the Yankees, Mets, Red Sox, and Cubs, and that is a disservice to the other teams.
I would like to see FOX schedule some Saturday Doubleheaders, and do what ABC did with college football, and use Saturday Night Primetime as a showcase for baseball. A good inter-league matchup would give great exposure to the National Pasttime.

That's a GREAT idea. And I'm good with interleague play since, unlike most NL teams, the Rockies dominate the AL: 11-4 last year.

yes.  Play 3 games against each team from the other league.  This way teams will learn how to play in each league, and  we don't have to see the Yankees/red sox 15 times on ESPN.  It will get more exposure for all teams, and maybe create some kind of profit sharing.  I think if MLB was ran more like the NFL it would be America's Game again.  My opinion, Like it or Not.

I hate interleague play. The great thing about the World Series is you get to watch the two best teams from each league face eachother to see who is the best. It takes some of the fun out of it if those two teams already played eachother eariler in the year!  I dont  like it at all, get rid of it!

I like interleague play, kind a wish they would expand the schedule. Play some games in September like NYY/NYM and LAA/LAD

Deep down, I'm a traditionalist and agree with you.  I can see why the League wants them and I'm sure bringing in more money is accomplished.  Because of the DH, teams are structured differently and the impact on standings can be greatly influenced by the "other" league - which isn't right.  In a way I sort of enjoy seeing some of the match ups, but in the long run - if, for example, Philly is going to meet NY in the world series --- I don't want them to play during the regular season.  I think the "surprise" or non-experience factor is totally lost.  Same thing in the NFL -- I think it was much better watching AFL teams vs NFL teams play each other for the first time -- the "unknown" is much higher.

I agree with JTrain and Stephen. Someone on MLB Network suggested playing one series against EVERY team and reducing the tedious divisional-slanted schedule to something reasonable. I immediately got excited about Inter-league play again with that suggestions! Same would go for the idea of Visitor Rules, instead of Home Rules for the DH (although the abomination should be eliminated all together!). Play a set of series each month, not just 2 months in the middle of the season and then everyone walk away. 2 or 3 series a month for the 6 months will keep the juices flowing, even if they are 2-games series, instead of 3.

Pitchers in REAL leagues bat all the time! Some are even used as pinch-hitters when they aren't on the mound. One genius manager will even bat him 8th in the order.

Just because your guys break a foot every time they get out there on the bases, doesn't mean all 30 teams have wimps! LOL
