Wallace is a running QB- not a passer, the Browns don't have the O-Line or the system to adapt to a running QB- so I think Delhomme keeps his job (at least for this season)! Unless the Browns go to "full time" Wildcat formation, Wallace won't win the Starting job. 1

Holmgren drafted Wallace and I think he believes in his ability. if they start losing as often as I think they will, he'll get a chance.

Of course he MAY get the starting nod if the Browns start losing, but what I was referring to was him actually winning the starting job before the end of pre-season like joshwillis52 was saying! The Browns invested too much money and released their ONLY 2 QB's just to have Delhomme there in Cleveland! Wallace was merely brought in to back up Delhomme- not to start! Now IF Delhomme struggles mightily or get hurt- then all bets are off! 1

#8 \| 1161 days ago Drummer99 (+)	I have to really believe this is Mikes attempt at stopgap, Quinn and Anderson got the boot and somebody had to take their places. Jake had a stinking 18 INT. last year. His pct. was pretty bad. He's maybe the less of two evils. As for Wallace, he stunk up the place too. He ran, yeah, he ran alright, he attempted 16 times and got a whopping 2 yards. These are just bodies replacing Quinn and Anderson. So, trying to figure what Mike is thinking, I can't see him hanging his hat on 2010 being a good year, the same house with a different coat of paint. He's in for the long haul, building and building,... which needs to be done. Who knows, maybe Jake will surprise me and everybody else, he better have some better receivers than he had last year. As a Browns fan, this is frustrating. 1
