Those 5 good years with the San Quentin Rapists will NOT count towards the Pro Football HOF

I'd say no at this point, but I'd need to wait and see how the rest of his career plays out.  He certainly has the potential (as long as he can keep himself out of jail).

hes a great QB and he wins alot but i think the legacy he is creating for himself is alittle too scared for him to be considered for the hall of fame

allegations won't lose your seat in the HOF.  Prosecutions will.

To have come from Miami-Ohio and have accomplished what he has is phenominal. If he stays out of trouble, YES!
#11 | 1128 days ago

If he keeps performing as he does on the field and his stats are very good.
yes
#12 | 1128 days ago

He wins another ring, he has a chance.  He does need to stop acting STUPID. Let me see, did Micheal Irvin, O J Simpson, Carl Eller, Bob Haynes, make it in the Hall of Fame? And they were convicted.    Paul Horning , hmmm Ray Lewis, yeah he'll  probably get in.  It has been proven over, and over, what you do on the field, has alot of say than what you do off of it.
yes

IF Pete Rose cant get in because of Gambling,,, what do you think they are going to think of a guy who forces himself on women,or at least puts himself in situations where he doesnt  use his head..errrr well the right one anyway!!!

I say as of right now he has a 50/50 chance of getting into the hall of fame.If he wins one more superbowl I think its a Lock.
yes
#16 | 973 days ago

If Ben wins another Super Bowl I believe he's a lock also.  Just like Kobe is a lock to get in the Basketball Hall of Fame.
yes

You people are delusional....Ben's stats are no where NEAR HOF worthy
no
#18 | 936 days ago

Some players stats that are in the Hall of Fame right now, are not worthy, but they're in, minus the stats..  Ben wins another Super Bowl he's a lock to get in.
yes

I think there are 3 Hall of Famers on that team and all of them play defense...Polamalu, Harrison and Hampton.

I believe allegations do cloud the judgment when it comes to the HOF for some players. IMO you should be judged by stats not by their personal life. Judge not less thee be judged. There will be a time that Ben, Tiger and Pete will be judged, it should not be here on the Q or by keeping them out of the HOF.Hope God is more forgiving then the Q nation and the newspapers and trash magazines!

Ben's passer tgs: in his first SB the Steelers won is SPITE of him: 22.6 <<beyond horrible
second SB 93.2 and threw the winning TD pass
This years AFC Championship game: 35.5 as once again the Steelers D bails him out
This years SB: 77.5 and he fails to lead his team down the field
If Ben is a HOF QB, so is Dave Kreig, so is Brad Johnson, so is Steve McNair, so is Mark Rypien

As Rodgers with a 55.4 passer rating was bailed out by his defense in the NFC Championship game. What's your point, other than hating Ben?

Ben doesn't win pretty, anyone watching the game knows that. What he does off the field has no baring on the HOF, we all know he makes poor decisions.

I don't even know why this is a argument, there is to many years left in his career. His resume so far (on field) isn't bad.

Moving on!
