I dont dispute that Gomi is a good fighter, but I believe he is past his prime. The competition he has faced in his career is also suspect. KenFlo takes this one.

I don't know how Nelson does it with that physique but I can't pick against him until he steps up in competition..Nelson by decision here

I will go with Gomi on this one.  The Nelson/Struve fight intrigues me.  Struve has been better each fight.  I think this is a bigger fight for Struve than Nelson.  My guess here is, Nelson will use his smother method to a victory.  I also think Caol Uno will take this fight by decision.

Sorry everyfight can't be a blockbuster main event.

Guess you don't enjoy watching younger fighters get better as they move up the ladder.

obviously the UFC thinks this will be a boring event as well. they wouldn't be offering it for free if it was gonna be good.

Or maybe they're using it as a seg-way into the TUF season starting after it? And just because there aren't top tier talent doesn't mean the fights won't be any good. Like the 'fight of the night' from 111 being two undercarders. Talent does not equal excitement (see Jon Fitch).

yeah probably. i'm not saying these guys aren't talented. i just don't see any fights on this card that interest me. not even one. i'll still watch of course and hopefully they'll prove me wrong.

The UFC often shows free cards, generally the fighters on them are exciting but not high profile...like in this case. If none of them interest you, why even bother weighing in? I find NASCAR to be incredibly dull but I don't comment on their topics saying how boring it is. If none of them interest you, then just let those of us interested in it talk about it.

Gomi is a great, exciting fighter but I think Florian is out of his league in general. If it wasn't for BJ penn then Florian would probably be at the top of the LW division right now. I think Tibau is a pretty exciting fighter but I don't see caol uno causing an uproar any time soon. That just leaves the two TUF guys, i'm not looking forward to roy nelson's fight especially but Andre Winner is an exciting fighter and him vs Rafael should be a good match.

Wow.  I was wrong on most of these fights.  Florian really impressed me.  His standup was spot on accurate.  Gomi had no answer.  What happened to Quarry?  I may have underestimated Andre Winner and Tibau.

I thought overall this was a great card, maybe not in terms of big names but those were some great fights. Florian actually did worse then I thought he would, around midway through round 2 he started getting sloppy and it kinda looked like he got tagged a couple times, but for the rest of the fight he completely dominated. Tibau is extremely underrated, if he stopped getting injured and sick he might actually get his name on the map soon. But yeah, quarry was a pretty big surprise, I figured his experience and conditioning would win him that one without fail.

the fights still kind of bore me but they were better than I expected. i think the Pearson/Siver fight was the best. and as for the main event i thought Gomi looked more sloppy than Florian. he was throwing a lot of wild punches that weren't even close to landing. Florian was killing him with those right jabs. and i was disappointed by Quarry, it seemed as if he was scared of Rivera.

I think gomi on the whole looked way more sloppy also, i was just surprised that florian got a little distracted and got tagged a couple times in the second. I dunno if Quarry was scared of Rivera, he seemed a little tentative but that could be 'cage rust' after all that time taken off for that back surgery.
