Once upon a time, a sports website was formed. This website included polls, site blogs, team "leagues", RSS news links, and forums for people to roam about and talk to their friends and fellow fans about sports. It also included a place called the "Hangout" (later re-branded) that served as a water cooler, for people to discuss anything non-sports related. In the short years following the launch of the site, users asked for videos, photos, trivia, and quizzes, to name a few things. They were heard. Several different changes were also made to accolades and ways that people could earn points, trophies, and medals.

Before even trivia came along, however, people were asking for fantasy sports, or a way to "bet" or otherwise spend their points. After much deliberation it was decided that these things should indeed be a part of the site - and so they were. Naturally, they became the most globally popular features all with die-hard users, casual site visitors, and brand new members.

Now we're changing things up a bit. Don't be scared, this isn't as dramatic of a change as the Season 2 makeover - this is just cosmetic. As with any fairly new site (remember, FanIQ is only a baby in relative internet age, at 4 years old) and even well established ones (Facebook is over 6 and isn't a niche site), the only constant is change. You've undoubtedly noticed that the site has been changing a bit - it does that from time to time. This most recent shift has been toward Fantasy and Playbook as FanIQ becomes more of a social gaming site. Since the homepage is a global landing page, we need it to be as clean and free from confusion as possible. So, since Playbook and Quick Fantasy have become so popular, we are putting them front and center to give users and new visitors easier access to those games.

Everything you have come to know and love about FanIQ will still be here, but it will be a little more difficult to find at first. What I would like to do is make this transition easier by providing you with the URL's so that you can bookmark them and have them easily available to you until you get used to the new navigation. I've provided you with some examples below of things that might be more difficult to find (no the Locker Room is not one of them) when we make this change within the next couple of days - but if there's anything else that you can think of that you want to make sure you don't lose or don't understand why they're gone, please let me know in the comments and I'll get you the link or answer.
