Over the past few weeks this website has changed almost unrecognisably. We've all noticed and I'm pretty sure all not been too happy with the recent change. Now we've had a few polls by a couple of our great NASCAR fans (one in particular the "going down now" poll) which have highlighted some of the problems with the new format-the main one being, how the heck do I get to the part of the website that I want to get to? After talking to some of you and finding out how to get links to the NASCAR section I've been able to, but I think if the site stays in the same format, we'll be done with the members we have at the moment.

When I first found the site it wasn't because I was looking for it, I was doing something for school whereby I had to do an IQ test and I was typing into google about it and this site pooped up. I had a look round and decided I wanted to stay. Now though-some-what 3 or 4 years later, if I was to do the same I'd have no inclination to stay with the site simply by looking at the front page. Debi and Kramer's NASCAR articles as well as everyone elses and their contributions are fantastic, but how can we possibly attract new members to the site, when as far as I can see there is no visible way to get from the front page directly to the NASCAR fan articles.

Polls are great, really they are. Chris' weekly poll, Helen's weekly poll, Scott's weekly plethora of polls, but is that enough to attract "outsiders" onto the site. Eventually, realistically after a while some of the members will tail off, but unlike the past I don't see any way of attracting the new ones. In the past, when Debi would write an article and it would be featured, other sports fans would comment, casual fans would chat to the regulars and this helped boost the section. Now though its tough enough even finding the feature section never mind negotiating through all the betting stuff to get to it.

So what do you all think? Would it be better if we could have a link on the main page again or a link via the polls or just some kind of publicity on the site? I don't mean to rant but I really care about the site and I know that many of you do to, and I really really don't want to see this great section go under like some of features of the site have done. Hey, maybe I'm just talking complete rubbish and you think the changes are improvements on the old format? What do we do folks, and will anyone listen anyway if we do have criticisms of the new format?...S.O.S!!!
