Good morning Q'Ville 04/28 edition. (Edited 10/05/10 10:57PM by Jess)
Happy hump day fellow Q'ers. Personally I hate Wednesdays, don't know why, I just do. So team gold won the first round against the heavily favored team black last night in the Q  family feud. Yay team gold. We rock! so what's on your mind today? Need to vent? Have at it. Want to say good morning? Go for it.  Want to talk about the N.H.L. playoffs? I say go Blackhawks. Anything and everything is up for discussion.(except the rumor that Carlos Zambrano is waiving his no trade clause)

Please remember the coc. But be you.

Braves have lost 7 in a row.  I feel like a Cubs fan all of a sudden.

NHL playoffs were going well until Detroit won last night.  Their average age is like 53.  How do they keep winning?

No rants, but damn,  I just feel beat up all of a sudden.  Too many things going on.

Hey Dave,  did you hear the Cards beat the Braves?

Morning Q'ville.  A beautiful cool morning here in the Mid-South.  Got a busy day here in the Nursing Home.  Never a dull moment around this place.  Hope all you fine Q'ers have a great Wednesday.  And you not so fine Q'ers can have whatever.  Hahahah

The Phillies have lost 3 in a row (and 4 of our last 5), and we're in danger of getting swept by the Giants today if we don't get by Tim Lincecum.  Ugh, I hate it when my team is in a slump.

I keep forgetting that the Flyers season is still going, because their 1st round series ended like a week ago (and we still don't know who we're gonna play yet in the 2nd round).

I'm feeling good today.  Tomorrow night, I get to go to the Rays game (first regular season game of the season for me so far).

Wednesday just means that we're more than halfway to the weekend!
Good morning.

woot! i thought i was the only person who notoriously tripped up and called them the oreos/oilers/oh-reallys. i feel better about myself and it's only 9:15am.

i am plum tuckered out. i feel like i haven't slowed down since the week before palm sunday.

i had a dream last night that captain stephen king was reeming out "my f*ggy ass" for one of the places i'd decided to set a claymore to stall an impending invasion. i need to either quit reading or quit playing so much call of duty. i don't see either happening though.

Morning!

Congrats to the Gold Team for winning that first round. Way to take a HUMONGOUS hint from the host and use it to win----just kidding. You guys did great.

I feel like sh*t today. The PTA is providing all us teachers and staff lunch in honor of Teacher Appreciation-----that's nice, maybe by lunch time my appetite will be back. It's been missing since yesterday morning.

Not wishing you all sparkles or tingles since I won't be having those, but I do hope you all enjoy your day.

"It was revenge for Billy Batts, and a lot of other things. And there was nothing that we could do about it. Batts was a made man, and Tommy wasn't. And we had to sit still and take it. It was among the Italians. It was real greaseball sh*t. They even shot Tommy in the face so his mother couldn't give him an open coffin at the funeral."

Good morning Q'Villians.. You see this smile? yeah, that one.. it hasn't disappeared in two days
Even though the god damn Red Wings put a whoopin on the Coyotes last night.

I've got a busy day ahead of me, but it's gonna be a nice 80 degree day, so I'm contemplating making a makeshift mobile command center outside for the day

and we'll end it with another movie quote
"The crickets and the rust-beetles scuttled among the nettles of the sage thicket. "Vámonos, amigos," he whispered, and threw the busted leather flintcraw over the loose weave of the saddlecock. And they rode on in the friscalating dusklight."

I'm sad the Wings won too and this Yotes team is a fluke, next year they may finish #7 seed at best.

It's only 88 - 0 and two more rounds remain. I also need to have an impartial jury to review last night's round before it's over completely.

The Coyotes will be back next year indeed. The series was wild to say the least. The Red Wings lost two home games, and yet. found a way to win three in the desert. Tippet is a great coach for you guys, and Bryzgalov is fantastic, he will be there for a long while. As for my Red Wings, they are simply the most professional team in the NHL, they never panic, and they continue to have a great combination of players every year. Congrats to the Coyotes on a great season.
Good morning.

It's ok, I had a virus on my computer a few weeks back that was causing my email account to send out random spam emails to everyone on my contacts list.
Sending my mother to S&M porn sites was one thing, because let's be honest, that sh*t is funny.  Spam about Milli Vanilli concerts going to my friend from college wasn't too terrible, either ... sparked a nice conversation about which one of them died a few years back (still not entirely sure to this day).  But when it sent an ad for Viagra to my boss, I had to give McAfee a quick ring to see how I go about fixing this little issue.

You were pacing yourselves? Meaning you're actually going to start, you know, winning?

Quit pitching to Jim Thome!! I don't care if the bases are loaded, walk his home run hitting ass. He's been killing Tiger pitching for 12 years and they still haven't figured it out
Good morning.

4 HR's on the year, 3 to LF, one to CF.

As 2008's Game 163 is completely erased from my memory, I  Jim Thome.

I'm in a TBL thread and stated how he's my new favorite Aussie...before the HR even happened.

Pleasantly surprised.

I was ready to kill him after his previous two outings, this one just is the end for him and his insignificant life.

The Hatred Index

Using an algorithm designed by Nielsen Co. that measures positive and negative reactions on the Internet, here are the 10 most despised teams in baseball (scale is -5 to 5). (wallstreet journal)

Team Score
1. Cleveland Indians 0.9
2. Boston Red Sox 1.1
3. Cincinnati Reds 1.5
4 Houston Astros 1.8
5. New York Yankees 1.8
6. Washington Nationals 1.9
7. Chicago White Sox 2
8. Baltimore Orioles 2
9. New York Mets 2.3
10. Los Angeles Dodgers 2.4

i think it's all hogwash - the nationals?? really. but what pisses me off most is the period they forgot after the "4" for the houston astros. ***holes.
That's absolutely impossible. No one even CARES about the Indians enough to hate them. I don't care what the order is, but the Yankees and Red Sox are definitely 1-2.

Your face is an ugly thing.

Ok, that's a lie. It's not. But it's the only comeback I could think of right now.
