Good morning Q'Ville 04/30 edition. (Edited 05/25/10 04:35PM by Anthonyg7575)
 Good morning Q'ville. It's Friday!   So the Cubs got pounded and the Cardinals won. Life is just unfair like that at times. I am glad that my friend is back he was missed. The Q Family feud is over with the Gold team taking the championship, I am using that as an omen to the Cubs winning the series this year. (as we were very much the under dogs) It was a lot of fun and our thanks to Kenne for doing it. So the weekend is upon us, so whats your plans? Mine i'm working! woo hoo, I know you all are jealous.  ok enough chit chat from me.

 I went to the Rays game last night, and they POUNDED on the Royals (not that that is tough to do anyway).  Now, they're 17-5 and leading the Majors with the best record!  Hopefully my Phillies put together a big series against the Mutts this weekend, and take back the first place spot for good!  Have a great weekend, everybody!

 As if that damn near "need" to try a Double Down wasn't bad enough, I think I found my dessert to go with it.

i got a booty text this morning from the guy who owns the bar i work at. (i dangled that participle just for becky and jason. enjoy guys!) the proposal was "wishing i was there to discuss batting averages all morning." since we're both avid astros fans i imagine that session would be short and unsatisfactory at best. ahhh...i love the ramblings of a good drunk in the morning.

this a warning for men and a heads up for janet: there is a new oxytocin (hormone released when a mother breastfeeds to induce bonding with the child) spray women can give to their overly-macho men. it will make them more "in tune with their feelings" and and want to do things like cuddle and open up about what's hurting on the inside. it's called liquid trust and the cuddle hormone. you've been warned. don't let your ladies put anything that looks like this in your nose, cause honestly, i prefer y'all as insensitive jerks.

yes, I refuse to try the double down though I'm tempted daily (i've rationalized it by saying well it's really just a large stuffed chicken breast ) .....and cheescake and pancakes (temptation, get thee behind me)...WOW! no wonder we're like the fattest country ever.

  So i got home last night from a lacrosse game, and had an email that basically ruined whatever happy I had.  When I'm not happy leave me the f**k alone.  Will I talk to you? yes,but I will be short, not say much.  And I will let you know when I'm not in a good mood.  So it's not like you don't have a warning.

So I'm (kind of) talking to a girl friend last night, and I've laid out the whole scenario to her.  Finally, she states she needs to go to bed, and I reply ok.  She comes back with "not even a goodnight?"  so I say goodnight.  and she was seriously?  And I'm like WTF?  all you said was that you needed to go to bed, you hadn't said goodnight.  I warned you, I didn't jump your sh!t, and this is how you want to end the night?

Seriously this is the sh!t i put with because apparently i'm a f**king softie...I won't say I'm not passionate, but I'm pretty easy going.  If you ask me if I like what you're wearing, and I do I'll say it's nice, you look good, etc.  But if I don't, I'll tell you no. But  If  I don't want the Martini I don't want the Martini.  I will let you know.  And don't try to sweet talk me or get you puppy dog eyes or whatever it is you want to do to try to get me to feel better or talk.  Unless you're naked in front of me, on your knees, I don't give a sh!t what you want, it's me pissy time.

 So I heard a new term on the radio today.  "Half-hooker".  Apparently that's a girl who sleeps with a guy so he'll pay for things (like nights out, gifts, bills, etc.).  I guess it's LIKE a gold-digger or just some girl with a sugar daddy.  Still not entirely sure of all the nuances behind the word, but I think I shall use it if the need ever arises.

Cardinals game was stupid/ridiculous though. Having tornado watches/severe thunderstorm warnings, PA announcer telling fans to take shelter.....yet they keep playing for another 20 minutes. For a game that's going to have to be finished tomorrow anyways.
