Technically there WAS a Captain America movie that came out some time in the early 90s.
But yes, they are doing a new (hopefully BETTER) one in 2011.

Yeah...  I actually recently remembered that one from 1990.

I guess it should count....

Yes, I counted it too, only because I like the character, but, the movie was lackluster. I picked F-4 over Spider but, its a tie actually.

It's Clobberin' Time!

I like the "lone wolf" characters more than the groups, but the Thing is my overall favorite.  Michael Chiklis did an incredible job in all the Fantastic Four movies.
1. Punisher  2. Elektra  3. Blade  4. Fantastic Four  5. Ghost Rider

I'm referencing the Thomas Jane Punisher...not the Dolph Lundgren version.

I like most of those movies, but they don't follow the comic story lines very closely.
The X-Men was a total joke as far as following the story line of the comics.

The movies have to straddle a line regarding that.   If you work too hard to please the comic book fans, the movie will please them but you run the risk of it not being accessible to the rest (and considerably larger) movie going public.  And the movie will bomb at the box office.  But they don't want to stray TOO far from the comics because they know they do need to please the comic fans.  It is a fine line to walk.  I think most of the comic fans understand this and can accept some changes made so a movie can work.  The super hard core comic fans will probably never be pleased with anything.
