Those damn gunting, spitting, farting, groin and butt scratching neanderthals only have 3 things in mind: sex, food, and when the next game is on....

At least that's what my wife tells me in football season.  After football season, according to her I only have 2 things on my mind.

I wouldn't know where to begin, seriously I wouldn't.

Yes it would be easier to name what isn't annoying about them.

Just imagine I'm putting "SOME men" at the beginning of these:

are childish beyond belief.
are loud when they don't need to be.
spit way too much for no real reason.
belch as loud as they can, looking for a laugh.

Reminds me of this song - It cracks me up every time...

The Truth About Men - Tracy Byrd

We don't like to go out shoppin',
We don't care what's on sale.
We just want to sit with a bag full of chips,
Watchin' the NFL.
When you come over at half-time,
An' say: "Does this dress fit too tight?"
We just look you in the eye with a big fat lie,
An say:"Uh, uh: Looks just right."

Well, that's the truth about men.
Yeah, that's the truth about us.
We like to hunt and golf on our days off,
Scratch, an' spit, an cuss.
It don't matter what line we hand you,
When we come draggin' in.
We ain't wrong; we ain't sorry,
An' it's probably gonna happen again.

We hate watchin' "Steel Magnolias".
We like "Rambo" an' "Die Hard 4".
Jump up and down like fools when we see the new tools,
At the Home Depot store.
We don't really wanna take you to dinner,
At some fancy restaurant.
The only reason we do is 'cause we know it leads to,
The one thing that we all want.

Well, that's the truth about men.
Yeah, that's the truth about guys.
We'd rather play guitars and work on cars,
Than work on the problems in our lives.
An' though we might say it to you,
Every now and then,
We ain't wrong; we ain't sorry,
An' it's probably gonna happen again.

Well, if you want to know what we're all thinkin',
It's nothing too complex.
It's just somethin' cold for drinkin',
And a whole lot of s-e......

Yes, that's the truth about men.
Yeah, that's the truth about us.
We like to hunt and golf an' drive around, lost,
Scratch, an' spit, an' a whole lot of other disgustin' stuff.
It don't matter what line we hand you,
When we come a-crawlin' in.
We ain't wrong; we ain't sorry,
An' it's probably gonna happen again.

We ain't wrong; we ain't sorry,
An' it's probably gonna happen;
Sure, it's gonna happen;
You know it's gonna happen again.
An' that's the truth about men.

You know it, son.

I hate it when men act like what they are doing is no big deal but as soon as we turn the tables it's the worse thing ever! lmao

the oldest example in the book....a man sleeps around he is considered a "pimp" or to be doing his thang......a woman sleeps with the same number of men she is a hoe..so on and so on.

Dont clean up after themselves
Fart and belch aloud in public
Don't listen
Don't wash their hands
Don't put the darn seat down
Constantly lazing around or watching tv or internet porn
Constantly scratch or grab at their testicle sac
Have no logic in arguments or their thinking
Pass out after sex, or not ready to go again
Too quick during sex- well just because he's finished doesn't mean I am!
Repeat the same things or stories over and over and over
Think that they are funny
Think they have the biggest penis
I ahte immature men
I hate a mama 's boy
Yes I can add more....

thank you very much!...(my sense of humor and I didn't have my coffee that morning). but really I guess what is annoying about us men :
1. we leave the seat up on the toilet
2. we think we can get anywhere without directions
3.we think we are gods when it comes to picking up women at clubs
I could add a few more but I think you can see where it is headed.
By the way my wife doesn't think I'm annoying and you calling me a sexist bastard is gender profiling without knowing who I am or how I was raised AND how I respect women. So next time I would think before calling someone you don't know a negative name. Thank you and good day. (by the way I love the Fan IQ).

Let's examine the issue as it has presented itself, shall we?

You came in and made a definitive and oppositional statement.  No worries, we encourage participation and the discussions can get colourful in either a positive or negative light depending upon the participants.

As is common in this and other forums, some responded with sarcasm, some with examples poking fun at the situation, and others addressed the manner upon which you responded.  Here's where the situation developed.  You came in this morning demanding respect, stating you're not a child (true, although being an adolescent means you know very little about life though it is common for adolescents to think they are capable of doing most anything better than those around you), being demanding in general, and telling people how they should respond regardless of your own participation--that, being after a tedious effort of piecing together your broken text language which is fine for texting, but makes an individual look less than intelligent in forums.

Something I learned in having the experience of being in several new situations whereas I was outside the established element--regardless if it was in a new country, new city, or even a new academic forum is that it is wise to sit back and observe for a while (depending upon the forum) to get an idea as to the interactive nature of such a new forum.  In doing so, it gives an individual the means upon which to observe the interactions of other forum participants; you can tell those who are sarcastic, see those who take a more serious, or completely aloof approach to the forum, not to mention a multitude of other interactive traits.  Pertaining to this situation, the quote that comes to mind is: "discretion is the greater part of valour".

So, as is common with many experiences in life.  People often stumble into a situation.  No problems, and no worries.  As with everyone that is here, or will come into the forum in the future, you are very welcome to participate.  However, I think you will find much more enjoyment from your participation if you first come in with the mindset that respect is not given it is earned; and that your reception (as with anyone new) would be much better received if you came in (introduced yourself) and didn't assume such a confrontational posture.  As with almost any place where a number of people congregate, there are a multitude of different personalities, perspectives, and beliefs.  It would behoove an individual that inserts themselves into a new community to practice an element of understanding over reaction, and ultimately seek to establish an essence of mutual respect between peoples.  Of course, there isn't anyone that's going to get along with everyone; what is sad is when an individual fails to give themself the opportunity to find others with whom positive interaction can ensue.

How you participate is completely up to you, but understand and be prepared to accept he responses to such participation.
#67 | 1406 days ago

And also - personal attacks are not permitted on FanIQ. Stating that someone under the age of 18 is a child is not a personal attack. Calling someone a name (such as sexist bastard) is. Please be careful, think before posting, and adhere to the Code of Conduct.

Thanks and have a great day!

You came in and made a definitive and oppositional statement.  No worries, we encourage participation and the discussions can get colourful in either a positive or negative light depending upon the participants.

A foolish man will tell a woman to shut up. A wise man will tell a woman she is beautiful with her lips closed.

At least it was an amusing response....  The fact that you don't understand half of what is meant is the reason you're digging yourself a hole in here.  Perhaps reading the paragraph that begins with: "So, as is common.......", would be the greatest benefit to "your time".  If you need, there's a book called a 'Dictionary' that is really handy to assist you with those words with which you may have trouble understanding.

Oh, and for the record, I could give two pebbles of poo with regard to what you consider a waste of your time.  Reality check: 1) the Earth revolves around the sun--not you, and 2) age in child development is relatively based upon the general attributes of the age-group...age-mentality is a completely different category.

Honestly, you are welcome in the forum, and people would be very welcoming if you would drop the adversarial posturing and just try and have fun.  This is a cool poll: www.faniq.com/poll/Make-me-a-Mosaic-II-1335952  If you would like, take the time to do this one....
