How is it that ONE small thing (or one small person) can ruin a really effing awesome day?

Three hours on the Beer cart, but it was the School District Employees year end tourney.  The first two rounds, no one tips (except one dude gives me 50cents like it was $20) and the last round I take out shooters, and the tips come rolling in.

However, when I cash out, inventory, and ring everything in, there's $40 in tips in the cash box, and I don't think I made quite that much in tips, so I say so to the boss's wife - I'm like that - and she freaks out about how I MUST have effed up somewhere,.  She recounts the inventory, recounts the cash, rechecks the tally on the iphone cash register thingy, and gets EXACTLY the same amount of tips I did.  BUT because I'd said I honetly didn't think I'd made quite that much, I thought it was $10 too much, she takes the extra $10 and rings it in under miscellaneous booze.  Then, the tip jar in the clubhouse, that I'd had at least $15 in before I went on the cart is declared as the "other girl's" tips.

Why can't the woman just be a wife/mother and leave the business alone?  She is not a people persone and is the only thing that makes the job not quite as much fun as it really is all the rest of the time
