Kobe is a great player, but like i said before he is not a one man team he needs support, i understand he sometimes lose faith in his players, but thats the game you can be hot or cold it the support that matters. build each other up fire each other up and that will go a long way

3peat would be nice. To beat Chicago of all teams. Phil's first and Phil's last team coached.

Regardless of who is the new Laker coach and who their new starters will be,, Lakers are DESTINED to be a sub-.500 (20 to 30 win)  Lottery team for ALL of the next 5 seasons!  Isn't that obvious???  The Lakers are headed into a 70 year Franchise-Historical,,all time LOW!  Does ANYone have any DOUBTS to what I just said???   Furthermore,, it will be at LEAST  6 years before the Lakers so much as BEAT the Dallas Mavericks in an ordinary,, regular season game.  In the meantime,,, look for the Dallas Mavericks to POUND the LA Lakers,,, on a regular (4 times a year) basis,, in regular season,, includling 25+ point Maverick victories,, OVER the LA Lakers,,, IN Los Angeles,, for at least the next 6 years,, (quite the contrary of the 1990 to 2003 period,,, when the Mavericks FAILED to beat the Lakers once,,, IN Los Angeles).  Speaking of Poetic Justice!  LoL

NO!!!  Instead,,, it will be a BLOWout LOSS for the Lakers!!!! FACE the facts!!!!   The Lakers (LA Fakers) are NOW,,, headed for at LEAST,, 7 years,,,,, full of (nothing else but) losing,,,,, losing,,, LOSING !!!!   Stand back and take a close LOOK at the reality:   First of all,, Lakers are LOSING their best coach ever (Phil Jackson),, to PERMANENT retirement.   Secondly,,, the VERY old players on the Laker team (Derrick Fisher, Lamar Odom,,, and Ron Artest) are RETIRING.    Thirdly,,, the "aging" player on the Laker team who insists on staying around for a couple more years (Kobe Bryant),,, will be JUST about as effective as the 41 year old Quarterback Bret Favre was this past season as he attempted an  NFL-Comeback with the Minnesota Vikings!   Regarding the REMAINING  Laker starters,, (
Bynum and Gasol),,, true,, they may still be relatively young,,, but they are WAY,,OVER-rated,,,WASHED up,,, and OUT of shape!  So THERE you go!   Regardless of any attempted MAGIC by Laker top management,,, there is NO other forecast for the Lakers,,, other than them being an obvious LOSING team,, for at least,,, the next 5 seasons!  Yes,,, the Lakers are now following in the footsteps of the Sacramento Kings (and the Kings have been Sub-500 LOSERS for at least the past 3 seasons).

your WRONG brother , even Phil retires , Fisher ,Artest And Lamar ( cause youre saying they old enough ) Lakers with Kobe ,Bynum ,and hopefully they can get either Chris Paul or Dwight Howard plus the other guys like Shannon Brown ,Steve Blake ,my LAKERS will be the TEAM still to beat .....and to think they already have 17 Trophies and Kobe with 5 MVP's i think its just fine for my LAKERs Team to give it up just for this season ...so lets give chance to either Heat or Mavericks this time ....so for my LAKERS and all of the LAKERS Fan 4-ever
lets wait for the next season and will shout again *** GO ..GO..GO ..L A K E R S   2012 ....

Yeah,,, that's right,,, one can ALWAYS  Say:  "Go Go GO Lakers 2012"  in spite of the fact that the Lakers will experience just about their worst Regular Season in their franchise history,,,, when they finish something like 27-55.  Regarding the Dallas Mavericks,, well,,, WIN or LOSE in these finals (vs. Miami Heat) the Mavericks will STILL,,, blow out the Lakers (the LA Fakers) by at least 20+ WIN margins,, in EACH and every regular season game played between the two, for at least these next four seasons!  Furthermore,, (regarding these Finals vs. Miami Heat), look for the Mavericks to WIN this thing in 5 games (and yet it might take 6 games).
