I admit my humor is a bit sophomore-ish, but it drives me nuts when people don't give me respect for a particular funny comment. I know that they have saw it and are giggling to themselves, but they refuse to respect me. For what reason, just cause I might have made another comment that offended them in the past. You know you want to do it, just put the arrow on the respect button and click it.

Come on, you know you want to do it, it will be therapeutic.

Those who are so insecure in their patriotism that they feel the need to defend every thing they say, no matter how stupid or ignorant it may be, with "I'm just a patriotic American who loves my country."  Really? Have you ever once met someone and thought "I bet that person isn't patriotic and hates America"?  If you're truly patriotic you don't need to say it. That's all.

Biased opinions on a particular team, like the fans who boast that their team is going to win the championship before the season even starts, and then several months later that team is out of the playoff picture. I remember these things and call them out on it later.

Example:  people who thought the Bills were going to be a playoff team last year because of T.O.
This year, fans who think the Redskins will win the NFC East because of McNabb, lol

People who repeatedly violate the COC with disgusting violations, I've seen at least 3 posted today that eventually lead to me throwing up (albeit alcohol induced) . They have been asked many times what is expected and to please abide by the rules, so that the members as young as 13 won't have to see anything inappropriate to their young and learning minds, I understand where the parents of those young teens are coming  from not wanting their kids to be exposed to that crap.

you have to do more than make me laugh to earn my respect.

I can't stand gum popping or ice crunching.  Both are like nails down a chalkboard.

people that can't laugh at themselves and the silly stuff they say and do.  i see the things that grate on people in this poll and i laugh.  we all do some of these, but i'm not gonna take it personally and have a hissy fit when i fall into the "if the shoe fits" category. these are just observations of life. and pretty damn funny. now think of something goofy that you've done, get that big grin going and laugh.

I have heard of Tim McVeigh. Again, do you ever really meet someone and think they hate America?  If you feel the need to prove it, its because something's missing.

Being late or showing up at the last second

People who cant say thank you if you hold the doort for them.

For some odd reason using the word except when you mean accept or vice versa, as in We accept blah blah credit cards NOT we except blah blah credit cards.

People that can't follow directions....wait that would be me....the title of the poll was name ONE thing that drives you nuts...some one needs to pull my head out of my arse.

 Bad spelling and grammar, especially
a) using adjectives when adverbs are needed, especially "good" for "well"
b) using txt lng for anything besides a txt msg (not including acronyms like lol although if you say that out loud-- that's pathetic)
c) not bothering to edit at all before posting

That's technically only one thing, right?
