Two for Tuesday.

Son had his last baseball game of the season last night.  Lost the Semi-Finals 7-1, but it was like 4-1 going to the last inning so they actually played well.  A couple bad plays here and there, and some really exceptional plays by the other team , and well, you've already the outcome.

New Zealand just tied the game in extra time, to salvage a 1-1 tie against Slovakia.  Congrats to the Kiwi's.

Drank and played rock band last night at a client's house, and thus not feeling my best this morning.

And since it's Two for Tuesday, read this all again.

First, I don't like the idea of mega-conferences to begin with.  I hated that Nebraska was going to be a scapegoat for the demise of the Big XII.  The Big XII going bye bye would've disappointed me, I just didn't want Nebraska to be the cornerstone that felled it.  Going to the Big 10, well I like the fact that Nebraska is going for just as much Academia and Research as is it for sports.  Some away games will be closer to where I am now.  I'm sure we will compete, I've just never looked at the Big 10 as a major player in the BCS, maybe the Huskers can change that.

Hi bitches.

So I had a long day at work and now I'm home.  Off the next two days () , which is cool.  However, I'm supposed to take my grandmother to pick up her glasses later on.  This disturbs me for two reasons:
1)  She wants me to accompany her to get her new prescription glasses ... and SHE wants to drive.  
2)  The last time I went anywhere with her, I vowed to never again get into a vehicle of any kind that she is operating.  She's the little old lady driving 30mph the whole way ... in the left lane ... turn signal on for 19 straight miles ... with the parking brake on.

I was supposed to write this over two hours ago ... dang it!!  Hope y'all take pitty on me a lil bit ... I just got enrolled full-time at school and I'm registered for 16 hrs just for this summer session (three tests, all A's, crosses fingers), sooooooooooooooo

 I just ran a mile with a 102 heat index.  I get stupider every day.  


This is headed for me.  I LOVE it.  We've had GREAT storms lately.  This will be an awesome summer if this s**t continues.

I have a crazy neighbor.  One day she stood between me & my door as I was bringing in some laundry.  I've mastered bringing stuff in from my car, since I've lived alone for the past 12 years.  It's a little tougher with a crazy looking lady standing between you & your door.  Today she went up to her condo, saw me pull in, made a b-line down the stairs.  Just as I shut the door,  she started ringing the door bell and beating on my door.  I let her do that while I went to the bathroom (I'd been holding it a while).  I came back & answered the door.  When I answered the door, she just stared at me as if I were the Blessed Virgin standing before her.  I asked her if I could help her...she warned me the storms were coming.  I put up my umbrella and shut the door.

I guess in order to be popular i need to do this.
